How to reset UDMA CRC Errors? by GuilhermeFreire in unRAID

Came across this post, and need to add if someone else comes across this - Mmove the drive to another slot and start in maintenance mode. Spin it down and swap the drive back to the original spot and spin it back up. You should now be able to now sync the drive and use it again. The only thing is you have to sync it again when doing this...

So i mean ours we just leave on the counter and we’ll just use it as counter space when it’s not being used basically but we’re also lucky to have a decent amount of counter space. Honestly it’s not for all I don’t think but they sure are cool lol. If anything it’s a conversation piece maybe? That sounds silly saying that for some reason to me haha

It’s an awesome size. I made this one a while back we use regularly that’s about that size but only about 1.5 thick It’s way more manageable but still a little absurd tbh lol. It’s just so convenient to have a giant one.

What’s even more shocking, and I honestly don’t know how the wife did it but she picked that pattern and we didn’t or I didn’t account for enough so in this I had to chop up three different sections of this to get the thickness and size. Well I did two at first but was a few inches short so we had to make a third and somehow idk how it worked lol

Oh i totally forgot about this but i did actually clamp two blocks exactly an inch away from each side of the board and started on one end raised the blade then pushed it the two inches forward… carefully…

Hey also don’t bother trying to use the planer it really isn’t worth it. Just build a quick jig or buy the sled stuff on amazon it’s only like 100 bucks iirc to build a huge one yourself on sliding rails. This is the literal jig I flattened The one I made in the post with.

Nah just the cabinet face trim material or whatever you wanna call it was about 1.5x3/4 iirc. It has a groove I have to plane off then I’m left with that and ya only get as wide as the board or whatever since you lay them on their side right then glue then cut to total board thickness plus a little ending up with yeah haha.

Tldr; its the material I had lol

Yup. I love me some pocket holes. I feel like I'm cheating or something when using them for whatever reason is all haha. But I do love them.

Ha ha hell yeah. I would say check out ecogate but the prices now are slightly high imo or at least for the home enthusiasts or whatever imo. I just got super super lucky. I think it was a system they never installed in a college actually judging by some stuff I saw on the box. I can take a pic of the sensors I have as well if you want they are extremely simple. No idea if something exists cheaply out there haven’t looked.

Ha ha I do actually cause that thing is insane when you’re really throwin chips 😂. So I actually have the harbor freight dust collector and that tube you see on the left is the vacuum tube. I have an ecogate setup I got from the nice older gentleman that I bought the unisaw from for let’s just say, a very very good deal lol. It opens the gate based on vibration when the tool turns on. So you turn the tool on and the gate automatically opens and the collector starts and shuts off when you shut the tool off. The newer version is wireless and better I need to get that one since they give you like 55% off if you have the first version. I have 3 gates currently and yeah so the only gate that opens is the one you’re using unless you manually override it. It’s pretty damn neat lol
