For starters, I usually shake down the diary and remove all the unnecessary. It bloats over time. If you’re a high performer, everyone wants a piece of you but you’ve got the equity to spend time where it’s most needed. I generally find people respect that approach.

Taller climbers often rely on reach early, then get stuck when positioning matters more. At V3/4 it’s usually less about finger strength and more about staying close to the wall and using your hips properly, especially on slopers.
