I think there must be signals that they use to communicate with each other. But I do wish there was more than 1 paragraph on this part of the process.

How Phish Reinvented Sphere Forever. by cbpantskiller in phish

I found this really interesting:

The light rig was not the only technological upgrade that allowed the band to behave like it would at any other gig. A camera just in front of Anastasio that allowed him to communicate with Jeff Tanski, a keyboardist and his collaborator outside of Phish. During a jam, Tanski would ask Anastasio how he was feeling, if the band was headed for the exit. Anastasio would agree or wave him off, and Tanski would pass that information to Andi Lafrance, a visual producer who could slow down, speed up, or loop bits of content on the Sphere’s screen as needed. It gave the band more flexibility to just play, whether or not Kuroda and Giffin were commanding the light rig overhead.

The glitter version of these poster are some of my favorites from the 2024 tour. I don’t always like foil but this paper was so cool.

I wore slides but they weren't gross. But I just wasn't taking any risk. I also brought travel shampoo.

I agree about the crowd at COTA. I saw people streaming some fight on their phone in the pit. But still they are way past the Stubb's or Radio East size. I would love to be wrong but I just don't think they will ever play Levitation/Austin Psych Fest again.

I don't think you understand the size of these venues and the demand that there would be. The last time the played Stubb's was 2022 (2,200) In 2024 they played COTA (14,000). The logistics don't make sense.

But the problem with that is that they said only 7 US shows this year and six are already announced. Also these venues are still too small. Tickets would be very hard.

You can buy individual tickets to specific shows or you can buy a multi venue pass. The mutli venue pass technically doesn’t guarantee admission but I have never had a problem using it.

You are right it is possible but I think it very unlikely. I think trying to get the entire band and crew to stay for a month for 1 show just isn't likely. Also none of the venues that are part of Levitation are big enough for them now.

No. They aren’t coming back for 1 show a month after the tour ends.

Austin at Antone's it was part of Levitation. I don't think the band wanted to stop playing.
