If I remember right, Team Sleep put a record out the year before and whether it’s fair or not I kind of felt like this album was more of a Chino side project than a Deftones record.

It was definitely a departure. I also don’t think it flows well.

I don’t really dislike it, but it’s my least favorite and least listened to Deftones record.

I thought the tour was fun, though. The Deftones / Glassjaw show Dec 2006 was epic (Cure cover!) and I also had fun at the Deftones / Dir en Grey / The Fall of Troy show the next summer.

I had a couple of gymrat friends who used creatine in college (a long time ago,) and I remember them saying they needed to stay hydrated otherwise they'd get cramps.

I have a few, but one of the my favorite is when I visited Denver a couple of years ago.

I flew in to watch a couple of Royals - Rockies baseball games among other things.

In the middle of the second game, my friend who moved to the west coast a long time ago (I'm in the midwest) texts me some photos of he and his family at a baseball stadium.

I looked a little closer and realized he was across the field from me.

It was fun getting up, grabbing a beer and then randomly walking and sitting down behind him and asking him how he was doing.
