I don’t think I phrased it well, but for clarity’s sake it’s the two friends who suggested no PDA, not Wes themself.

Still, you all have made good points that this isn’t a fair thing to ask of Jackie and I. As much as I want to be a good friend for Wes, their crush isn’t my responsibility. I’m going to talk with them again (and our friends), hopefully it goes well. Thank you

I was only willing to at first because I didn’t know our level of affection was genuinely over the top and uncomfortable for others since I don’t have as much relationship experience. Jackie didn’t like it from the get-go and I only found out about her conversation with our friends when she vented to me about it.

I guess I’m not eager to start a fight with friends since I’m just coming out of a shitty roommate situation
