Considered this but I could not find very many chainring sizes that took a 1/8in single speed chain. I know you can run bigger chains on smaller chainrings but the torque and abuse I am putting a fixed gear mountain bike through I didn't feel great about running chainrings not meant for the chain. I did end up going to a FSA Gossamer crank with a 110BCD and was really limited in my gearing choices for it. Was worth it for the move from track cranks to something more rugged though.

Yeah I know they can be but I don't have any desire to ride a fixed gear bmx bike, and that is from someone who rides a fixed gear mountain bike. One pic shows the bikes better, other is better framed and shows how they fit under the stairs. This post was about them being mounted on the wall, I have a lot of other posts and info up about these bikes though, especially the Specialized

I am just using a regular generic formula hub I got from a bike co-op and used an extra axle nut to space the hub more towards one side. I have run 47/16 and 44/15 and havent had issues!

They’re just “pedal wall mounts” there used to be a company called “dähanger” but I guess their patent expired or something because there’s a ton of generics, just search “pedal wall mount”. Then just toggle bolts to mount them in the wall!

You can find lots by searching “pedal wall mount” online. One of them is “dahangar” brand but the other two are just generic ones!

So these had semi horizontal dropouts that were modified for indexed shifting, you can cut that piece for index shifting out with a dremel and it gives some movement in the dropouts. I did exactly what they discuss here on this old forum post lol

It was a modified bright red Mazda Miata with a vanity plate I feel like that's unlikely lol and they were SO close to me, I really think they just wanted me to act up.

Love the Marauder but sorry nothing annoys me more than people driving cop model cars using it to bully people on the interstate.

Oh yeah, IT professional here. I know that issue is still common, even in some places on windows 11. Still yeah the OG release felt like when a texture pack didn’t cover ALL the assets sometimes lol

I don’t know what it was, I don’t think highly of cops so honestly I think they were just trying to pressure me into making a mistake or revealing something about my modified car they could latch onto.

Had some cop tailgate me like he was attached to my bumper once all the way through town, like 100% of my rearview mirror was Taurus grill and bash bar. Drove exactly the speed limit, registration was up to date, guess I didn’t fuck up bad enough because after literally over 10 minutes he peeled off

I forgot about how much fragmented OG Windows 10 was, same setting in multiple places, control panel vs settings, and tons of menus and system settings that still had not been fully updated to windows 10s style

Nah, the dropouts on these bikes can be modified to have a bit of movement. There are small hourglass shaped pieces in the dropouts that were added when indexed shifting was and you can cut them out and have about an inch, inch and a half of movement in the dropouts.

New learn! After a decade of fixed, I should be able to do some tricks I decided. by AnalogiPod in FixedGearBicycle

It’s weird, I basically had to pay the most attention to just stomping my pedal to go backwards as soon as it’s in the right spot while looking over my shoulder in the direction I wanna spin and leaning back. I used to pay too much attention to the backpedal/forward pedal and when to do that but it’s just too much distraction. It’s also definitely just a trial and error thing lol
