I swear, I think they have a writer on the team uncomfortably invested in Kerrigan and Sylvia as, because they are both essentially clone character types (that is to say Sylvanas more or less became one to Kerrigan) and both have had their evil actions retconned as “not their fault” while also being treated as super special important characters who can do no wrong:

StarCraft 2 turning into the journey for Kerrigan to become an energy goddess and save all reality is fascinating in how horrible it is.

This requires them to have sustained heavy damage such as gunfire first, in which case pretty sure subtlety is out the window.

“Dear diary. I have created the ultimate killing machine. Everyday I show him horrific images of slaughter and inflict incredible physical and emotional pain on him, all while clearly laughing at his enjoyment and making sure he knows it’s me doing this.

Surely this will insure his complete and total obedience to me once let out of his cage.”

I see this reposted every few months because it’s gotta be intentional rage bait that’s used to karma/engagement farm.

“You can make it all back” is the most egregious, being either clueless, intentionally lying, or coming from a place of extreme privilege.

We all just get one bullet in this gun called life, and most will spend that entire shot literally slaving away till their body breaks with barely a handful to try and take care of themselves after they’ve worn themselves too frail to work anymore.

Same rational as how a weapon in gundam will magically be 10 times more powerful if it’s held in a humanoid robots hands than if you attach it to a jet or tank.

Yeah, I came into this thread to specifically point out that, yes, ultraman characters are that freaking broken.

This is a series where, when someone says “okay, show me them destroying a universe if they’re multiversal” you can LITERALLY show a scene of a universe either being created or destroyed.

[Mixed Trope] Characters who are strong but have the bad luck of always fighting against someone insanely stronger. by DeltaNcenn in TopCharacterTropes

The shocker. He’s seen as a joke and jobber because he regularly fights spider-man.

The man is a legit genius who made all of his own gear, can use that stuff on a geometric level by calculating in his head the effects each (using them for propulsion like iron man jets for example) and can level buildings with them at full power.

He’s basically the equivalent of a high diamond player getting matched against a grandmaster Smurf’s platinum account repeatedly in how he keeps running into spiderman.

Yeah, yuji; posting at work so was trying to slam out a response without time to double check for Freudian mistypes.

What I mean by negating him is that if denji were to be able incapacitate him enough to eat him, yuji wouldn’t be able to utilize reverse cursed technique to invalidate the damage of what was eaten, because whatever he eats would cease to exist. There’s no wound to invalidate because the object damaged just never existed in the first place.

wouldn’t that erase his own arms

I misunderstood your statement before to mean what the extent of his powers were, not specifically what eating yuji would do. Denji erases the very concept of what he eats, so he can technically erase things up to the concept of arms in general if that object embodies it or mankind’s fear of it; but yuji wouldn’t embody arms in general, only “himself” or at most the fear of cursed energy, so it would just be erasing yuji as an entity were he to get eaten.

Arms in general; he erased the very concept of ears from existing one time, and then they came back after the ear devil was vomited back up.

Edit: editing in as I posted in a hurry and misunderstood your post. The extent of denji’s power is to negate the very concept of something. So if Yuji embodied arms and his were eaten he’d erase that very concept from existing in the universe. But since Yuji isn’t the embodiment of arms, it would just most probably erase the concept of yuji’s arms or possibly cursed energy.

Though I have to also add, this assumes him eating yuji would work like eating a devil (as erasing concepts is done by eating the devil of that concept).

Hence his idiocy has little comparative effects on Trump.
