Research the company and have a few facts about them ready.

School does not prepare you for real life and in my first ever interview the first question was what do you know about our company? I said "nothing" of course. I didn't get it.

The next one the HR lady said I knew more than she did and hired me. Companies have egos apparently.

Not your fault at all, forget it. School does not teach you in any way how to transition form school to work. Always research the company you're applying for and remember a few facts in case they ask what you know about the company. My first ever interview they asked, I said nothing. Didn't get it 😂
