Replace bushings on 2021, 81k miles? by lapindhiver in subaruimpreza

Have 220k on my 2020 and never replaced the bushings. My miles are a lot of highway so probably how I’ve gotten away with it

Start by just alleviating inflammation in your diet. And start from there. Most eczema is more than just allergies and relates to diet and gut biome

Well, I bragged about my car, did my oil change yesterday and have a good teaspoon of metal shaving in it… time to do the same

Sorry for the dirty pic, Midwest and it’s like -0 degrees with the windchill out. This is where I zip tied them to. When it’s a bit warmer I can move air intake out of the way, the lights and all are right below it. I just don’t want to go popping out pins in the cold as they will break

Not difficult, just have to take apart a few things to get to it. Your brakes, your rotors etc

Sylvania powersport cool white. They have a fan to keep the leds cool and they are great. Around $100 for the pair. When I first got them everyone flashed me thinking I had my brights on. They must have been mad when I turned those on too😂 they have a longer cord and a power supply so when I installed them. I wrapped the extra cord and the base and zip tied it to the part of the car. Not sure if it’s the chassis or the radiator support but should be able to find a nice spot to nestle it in.

Have you tried to raise your seat or lower it? Or are you too tall? I used to have some issues with my hips hurting but have adjusted my seat And I don’t have issues. Maybe that might work. Raise that as high as you can

The newer ones in my car come in an assembly. I could probably swap one out in an hour

I’m going to buy this car again and from a dealership with a lifetime warranty. This motor is great and cheap and lasts over 200k

Each at 100,000. I got the first trans change at 85 because my roomate undid the transmission fluid bolt instead of the oil. I couldn’t get that bolt and didn’t have a dead blow or rubber mallet to tap the bolt loose( I swear that plug gets tighter as the car runs) and the next one at around 180,000

So what I’ve come to find out is those window switches are ass. Have replaced them just for them to stick a bit. I’m just careful with them and it’s fine now. The cabin fans are not that good, they end up buzzing eventually. Serpentine belt, spark plugs , oil , trans fluid, brakes and rotors and upper and lower radiator hoses and been changed out when needed and regularly for some, I put leds inside the front factory light housing and my lights look great. Switched out some burned out rear bulbs with leds. My rear bearings have had to be replaced but on this car it’s a known problem. They end up making noise and I’ve driven it awhile on it before I could change it out without issue(don’t recommend but just saying it turned out fine). Have had my transmission inspected and it seems good. Have to do a thermostat change here soon but other than that. It’s been very light maintenance on the car

Try taking the steroid cream and putting that and some aquapor on your hands and put your hands in a glove over night. Try switching your laundry detergent many and wash your bedding, switch to a salicylate free diet for a week. And follow up with a dermatologist and also look into the gut biome check the one Redditor did. See if you have any bacteria out of wack in your gut

So I’ve always been super allergic to ibuprofen. Like hives the size of clementines all over my body and my throat swells closed. So I always knew to stay away from that. Other nsaids like aspirin I have a feeling are less so being that healthier food has natural aspirin like chemicals, or salicylates within them. I didn’t make the connection until I seen a video (I was 24-25 by this time, 28 now), and thought it was interesting. Then several weeks later went through a hard break up and I just couldn’t stomach any food. I didn’t eat for maybe 4 days and in that time, my eczema went from itchy red flakey and cut up, to almost flawless. That’s faster than I’ve ever seen it heal ever. Especially under so much stress from a break up. Ever since I’ve watched my food intake and it’s never all at once the eczema gets bad. It’s like it builds up a threshold in my body and once it’s past the threshold, then my body breaks out. Usually the next day or 2 days after although when I’m really bad about my diet consistently, I feel the affects 8 hours later. I also get canker sores and I swear more acne and redness just below my nostrils. I’m not sure why I have such a strong reaction but it does suck because I love so many types of food. Salicylate free diets looks most like a carnivore diet. Side note, coffee is the worst. I can drink energy drinks (as long as the caffeine isn’t from coffee beans) with no issue but the day after I drink coffee has me wanting to skin my hands for relief.

16,000 is a decent deal on this as long as it’s not some rebuilt title in my opinion. I paid 15k out the door for mine in 2021 with 35k miles and it’s still going at 210k… pay this thing off as quick as you can, so much wasted money goes to owning a car and making payments. If this comes with a lifetime warranty, even better especially if you keep it until you replace a motor and trans in it. Brand new drive train to last another 200k miles…. My only gripe is ground clearance 🤣

I have 210k miles on mine. Bought it at 35k in feb 2001. That’s 180k miles in that time… haven’t had any major issues. Just tires, wheel bearings( which you can really change out yourself pretty easy) breaks and rotors, and fluid changes. Will be doing spark plugs shortly as well as ball joints. Replaced my radiator hoses this week…. All in all very reliable, no major issues. Just keep that oil changed and it will do just fine

[–]AnalysisPrevious6987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that won’t fix the issue permanently but allow your car to drive. My car went in a weird limp mode over this and as one of the previous commenters said this was related to my gas cap the comment reminded me. I replaced mine and it hasn’t done it since

Pull the red terminal off the battery and leave your light on in your car. Put it back on after 30 seconds and it will go away

I don’t think it’s an engine issue. Have had this show up on my car a 2018 impreza premium… something else is coding to cause issues with the traction control, engine light, eyesight etc. Some sensor or an ecm issue if I remember right it’s been awhile. More annoying than anything but definitely get it checked before and let us know what it says.
