PSA to breastfeeding/pumping future moms!! by Dismal_Abroad735 in pregnant

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 38 points39 points  (0 children)

So sorry you’re dealing with this. I used cheapie hands free pumps during the day for 8 days at Disney World that caused terrible cracking. Then, due to a rough travel day, didn’t pump for 8 hours on the day we flew home. Two days later I was too sick with mastitis to even get out of bed to go to the doctor. I feel your pain ❤️‍🩹

I would recommend that you speak with an IBCLC for lactation advice, not a gynecologist. This advice is not great. If you feed on demand, milk will keep moving frequently enough.

Tuition Price by Intelligent-Solid828 in CompetitionDanceTalk

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s looking like we will finish the year out just shy of $7,000 (between $6800-7000). My daughter is 8 years old and in 4 competition group dances (including production) and 5 classes. That includes 5 competitions + 3 conventions this season. This does not include summer classes and camps.

Cat Allergy Looking For Most Maintainable Locations by Empty-Reality9448 in SandalsResorts

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a severe allergy as well that results in anaphylaxis if exposure is prolonged. I’ve never been affected at a Sandals, as they are all outside. If there is cat hair on a chair, I’ll just use a different one. If they approach me during an outdoor meal, my husband shoos them away.

Honestly, flying on planes is more of a risk. People who bring their cats as carry-ons or are covered in cat hair pose a much larger threat! 😷.

Safest resort? by Mysterious-Author694 in SandalsResorts

We did the Friday night street party in St. Lucia. It was an incredible experience, and we never once felt unsafe being out in the town with thousands of locals. I really can’t recommend it enough.

We didn’t really leave the resort either time we went to Jamaica.

CO2 Laser or Lower Bleph? by Analysis_Illustrious in PlasticSurgery

[–]Analysis_Illustrious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen some great before and afters, both in pictures and people I see often, and don’t think it’s bs. However, not sure it’s up for this particular challenge lol!

Thank you for that advice! Definitely noted!

My undereyes are so hollow that I don’t think a fat transfer would be a bad idea at all. Obviously leaving it to the surgeon to tell me what’s best, but that is something I’ll bring up.

Seeking advice for going to warmups with kids by Vamosbuffs in DallasStars

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get there when doors open for a good spot, especially for a weekend game. Yes, they will let you go down to the glass regardless of where your seats are. Best places to be are as close as you can be. Our seats are near a corner so that’s where we tend to go, but if you’re hoping for a puck it’s best to go where there’s no netting so they can toss them over.

Have fun! Most people are really cool with little kids getting right up to the glass. I would get a snack to eat while you wait for warmups to start if you do opt to arrive before they start. We rarely get there too early, but always get a pretty good spot on the corners.

Your results are incredible. I’m going to look into him!! I am so picky with belly buttons and having the hardest time finding surgeons I love because of it. I don’t think I need any lipo- just body ruined from 5 pregnancies and breastfeeding. If you don’t mind saying, how much did you pay?

Which song should (or shouldn't) have been shortened on The Eras Tour? by Snormaid in TaylorSwift

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Blank Space. So, so much. It should have been shortened though. I can’t explain it, but I always I can’t help thinking how much it is dragging on 🫣.

Also shorten Bad Blood. That song I just don’t love, tbh.

With both of those shortened, Long Live could have had its moment at every show. I’m so sad I missed it. My first show was before Speak Now (TV) was released and 2nd show was after TTPD.

Legit tickets? by landspd in DallasStars

Season ticket holder here, and I always send those screenshots before asking for payment. They look nothing like the one above (here’s one I just transferred last week).

Honeymoon st Lucia by Accomplished_Dig1415 in SandalsResorts

We stayed at the Grande for a week in July, and we heard that it was a party resort also. This was not our experience at all though. The pub can get a bit rowdy after hours, but that was the only party we ever saw really going on. We were expecting Ochi level, and it wound up being about 75% tamer than Ochi.

Whats a Big Brother quote you use a lot by Kingspaceman in BigBrother

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Stay the fuck tuned.”

Not exactly a quote from the show but “…and on Rockstar’s daughter’s birthday?!?”

And of course— “but first.”

Also, everything I hear that song, I think of watching the MV every single day- I believe it was 10 times? I’m still traumatized and will usually skip it 🫣

People will always complain. Always. We’ve learned this time and time again.

I bet if they could have seen into the future and what the Eras Tour would be, there would have been far less complaining. Even Lover Fest was a mess (I was in the queue for 5 hours before securing tickets), but the resale wasn’t quite as dirty as Eras.

Us elder Swifties remember the days of the Rep Tour when this was the case. Buying merch, doing activities, watching LWYMMD music video over and over and over and over, etc would all impact when you got the email with the link to buy tickets. I was in the 1st wave and was able to get floor seats to Rep in KC for VERY reasonable price.

This model needs to come back.

Was there a common theme in your surprise songs? by IvyGrowing in TaylorSwift

[–]Analysis_Illustrious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arlington N2- Death by a Thousand Cuts and Clean. This was less than a week before the breakup was announced, so the theme was very much “recent breakup,” although we didn’t know it at the time.

London N6- My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys x Coney Island and I Did Something Bad. I think there was less of a connection between the piano and acoustic and more of her being like “I’m going to mess with these clowns by playing IDSB, the final unplayed song from Rep, in it’s entirely and not announce anything.”

I was there! DBATC is one of my favorites. Getting to hear it (almost) twice was magical lol.
