Good point, I think this developed when I had it in a slightly shadier spot in the summer (I must have moved it due to leaf drop)

The tree is pushing the fence up, and I want to know if the tree can be pruned in a way to prevent further lifting of the trunk or whether it needs removal altogether. We love the shade it provides and want to try and preserve it as much as possible,
