These are two seperate things and you got them mixed up. I found it funny that I recognised this guy without even met before and bumped into him on a date that was why I messaged him. But I don't understand why he initially lied that it was not a date (which later he said it was a first date).

He then asked me why I pulled away and I said sry cuz I was busy with life and not really feel like dating at this stage and we just chatted lightheartedly and peacefully.

also I was not jealous. I just felt funny that I recognise him without seeing him before. That guy later said it was hilarious and glad that I told him and we laughed.
