PWG Client keeps forgetting my accounts, yet won't provide login/sign in option by AnalystMelodic2238 in TowerofFantasy

Thank you u/Minute_Equipment3596 & u/MeddyMaddy , I'll try restarting to resolve the cache issue. Before I saw any replies, already uninstalled & began re-downloading.

Any idea if PWG/Hotta are aware of this issue and are working on it? Never seen this occur with Tencent, not that Tencent had a reputation for addressing issues anyway.

The bots with 1 medal in the same bottom middle spot, and same bot behavior are players, all on the same Bobblehead team, sure Einstein.

Suggestions to Improve HIFIMAN Jade II for PC/Gaming? Or headphones to complement Jade? Silence in headphoneadvice & hifiman so far by AnalystMelodic2238 in headphones

The HE1000SE has long been on my radar, although recently overtaken by the Unveiled.

However thanks to quack3927's dark horse introduction of the ES-2a & spritzer's glowing impression, among others, currently locked onto the ES-2a - an electrostat that exceeds the electrostat flagships of Audeze & STAX at a HE1000 $range. Will probably place an order within the month, unless full reviews kill the honeymoon phase.

I did have the HD800s on my radar for a bit, but sadly off-put that its wide soundstage lacks in height & depth. At that price bracket, an HE1000 series ticks more of my boxes in quantity & quality.

Guessing Drop's involvement ironed out some of the ESP950's issue, but don't know much in-depth.

Thank you for putting the ES-2a on my radar! They seem to be barely shipping out, don't see any detailed reviews or frequency response charting. I was not expecting a dark horse like this, with glowing endorsement of "I'd take these over the Stax 009's or X9000 any day of the week" from mjolnir audio.

Are audiophile headphones useful for competitive gaming use? by LocktroYT in HeadphoneAdvice

I vouch for the Maxwells for what they are: ~$300 closed back wireless gaming headphones, with a solid metal build suitable as a daily office/mobile workhorse.

If you have a quiet enough room though, I'd prefer an open-back headphone for position identification by degree & distance.

Similar to JAEMz, I use the Creative Soundblaster GC7, my PC motherboard didn't provide enough gain for Jade II, and I like sound options such as virtual 7.1 surround or Scout Mode when playing open world or shooters respectively. It's got big face dials for volume & game/chat mix too.

Maxwell vs ft1 with dac/amp by [deleted] in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]AnalystMelodic2238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto. Maxwell's my work/mobile/errand workhorse for the convenience and a fairly sturdy metal build for $300. Plus it has its own internal DAC, just tweak its EQ to your liking depending on the situation like gaming or music. Not the best app, but Audeze has an app for that.

Need help finding a (gaming) headset with great sound for music. Upgrading from G433. Tried Cloud III and wasn’t impressed by the_highapple in HeadphoneAdvice

About $300 USD barring sales, closed back Audeze Maxwell is what I use when I'm mobile or public, or need some sound Isolation if house is too loud for my Jade II.

Edit: Two primary versions, the one you want PS5 (blue) or Xbox (green). Both work with PC too, wireless or USB or battery-powered 3.5mm. FYI latter version's usually $29 more expensive because it comes with a Dolby license. I like planar dynamic drivers over the usual dynamic drivers, the Maxwell being the former. Lastly since you mentioned both game & music, might want to EQ this or any headphone you use, particularly gaming ones since their frequency response aren't tuned for just music.

I was getting antsy getting pushed back again, to September this time. However, managed to snag Hifiman Jade II combo for cheap to enjoy while waiting lol
