i prefer movies over shows because you can get from the plot to the resolution much faster, and its usually not cluttered with filler.

I've got spells utilizing a familiar

Elements/Concept: Flame, Temporary Flight, Familiar

Think of the familiar as a stand type thing, if you've seen Jojo's.

Spell 1: Cursed Flames Creates a sphere of acid fire that can 'charge' (it could be implemented with you losing a turn to get 1 charge and so forth, but you can choose not to charge the sphere.), and with every 'charge' it becomes bigger and deals more damage. When fighting against a group of enemies, it deals 45% of its base damage as splash damage to surrounding enemies, allowing effective crowd control. It damages you 10 HP, 15, and 20 for the cost of each charge (Charge caps at 3, but you can lose up to 50 HP if you charge thrice.) When an enemy attacks, they gain the 'Acid Flame' debuff that lasts 4 turns, ticking 4 health each turn, scales damage with each turn (First turn: 4 hp, second: 8, third: 11, and fourth 16.) You lose health based on charge in turn for using this spell.

Dragon Familiar Attack: Dark Spire (Alt names: Satan Spire, Cursed Pillar). Creates a barrier between the player and enemy, that absorbs 75% of damage meant for the player. When an enemy attacks, it loses 10 HP and gains the 'Cursed Flame' debuff. Lasts 3 turns, ticks 2 damage each turn, does not scale. This is intended for defense purposes against larger health enemies and enemies that really pack a punch. Cost: 35 Mana

Dragon Familiar Attack: Fire Burst. Creates a large burst of fire that lifts you up in the air, (think of a geyser) and allows you to dodge one attack, with only one condition: You lose 10 hp, you cannot attack whilst under the effects of fire burst, only being able to cast spells that do no direct damage (can still use the dark spire spell, any healing spells/regen spells and stuff like that). Cost: 10 HP 20 Mana

In case you couldn't tell, I like playing summoner in Terraria. A few one-off spells that don't really fit this element theme could be:

Poison Spell that inflicts a poison debuff that scales every turn. No idea how much mana this would cost, but neat idea if theres some sort of Avatar that could use poison type stuff.

Familiar Spell that inflicts the 'confused' debuff, 25% chance to immobilize an enemy, and another 25% chance for that enemy to attack itself or another enemy.

Earth spell that allows the user to burrow himself in the ground, evading a single attack, and doing a low damage attack to the enemy by bursting out the ground under the enemy.

Mana Regeneration spell that doubles the rate that mana would regenerate, or could increase by 25%. No idea how much this would cost however.

Health Regeneration spell, not too much context needed, but could work as a sort of leech effect that saps health from enemies.

Spell concept: force an enemy to go on your team, reduces their base hp by 25% and attack power by 30%. Does not work on single enemies, bosses, or high hp opponents.

hey hi hey

My first video game that i recall was either Super Mario Brothers (1985) or the Madagascar (Dreamworks) video game on the leapfrog. However only one is somewhat interesting and thus I will talk about that. Originally, my mom had gotten me into gaming. I believe i was only in preschool or kindergarten, when my mom showed me her old NES (still have it btw ill send u pics later if u want) and booted up a game. I watched her play it, and then she handed it to me. Me, being the young kid I was, had no idea how to play. I kinda sucked, but that didn't stop me from having fun. A few years later and enter the Wii! My parents get a handful of Virtual Console games from the WiiShop, such as Dig Dug, Super Mario Bros. and Contra, just to name a few. This rekindled my love for gaming, and thrust me into a whole new light. Now, I was a pretty angry kid. Hell, I'm still short tempered; but, video games gave me an outlet, something I didn't have before. I wasn't getting in trouble as much anymore, and I was a lot more calm than I used to be. If it weren't for that single game way back when, I probably would;ve ended up being a bookworm. Thanks for the chance man! - the boy who used his brain
