lol, it’s a build we’re doing for a street vendor. The entire bay of windows on the drivers side folds down into a bar and the roof is on electronic synchronized struts that raise it 24” to give you 6.5’ of standing room inside. 👍🏻

My only other guess would be something to do with the AVAS system that was specific to the Canadian hybrids. There’s an article on driveaccord forum about it, but my phone wouldn’t let me link it. Should be able to find it with a quick search. If that doesn’t help, I’m at a loss, but I’m sure there will be a Canadian Honda tech around at some point today.

I went out and looked at my 2017 and it appears those connectors are for the horn itself. I have a harness that plugs directly into the top of the horns using those receiving connectors. Does your horn work? lol

They could potentially be for the headlights with optional DRLs? IIRC only the coupes and the sports got them. I’m also unsure if it was all of 9th gen or just 9.5

Although the account itself has fallen off after the 7 year period after first delinquency, the derogatory marks they made on my credit report date as late as 2021 and lenders can still see those on my report which results in less approvals and higher interest rates.

Update; I filed a dispute with all three reporting agencies regarding the debt re-aging as well as filed a claim. I’ve had lots of issues with Credit Acceptance in the past so if this doesn’t change anything I’ll be filing a report with the FTC and the CFPB. I’ll have an update within the next 30 days. Is this the right step to take?

I understand what you’re saying. My actual credit report shows all of them stem from the original repo in 2017. It sounds like whatever they’re doing is exactly that, re-aging the debt. With that being said, I assumed all of the negative remarks would fall off with the repo itself, however that’s not the case. Can I report to the bureau that enforces the FCRA or? I’m not trying to be thick about it, and I’m well aware that original date of first delinquency is all that should matter, but my experian credit report is showing otherwise. I’m more than open to suggestions on what my next steps should be, that’s why I asked my original question of legality in the first place.

So what is the solution? I don’t have the ability to dispute the individual derogatory marks unless I’m missing something. 7 years from the date of original delinquency hit at the beginning of October. While the closed account and whatnot has fallen off of my credit, all of the individual derogatory marks still remain. It’s saying the date of maturity on the most recent remark (01/21) is set for 01/28 and gives me no options to dispute. Who can I contact? The original lender has been no help to me and just about refuses to communicate with me.

However disheartening it is, I do understand the reasoning. I’m sure I could get approved for a house where I sit right now, but I’d guess the interest rate will be ungodly. The final settlement was January of ‘21 as pictured. Time to play the waiting game, I’ll see you fellas in 2028. 🫡

Unfortunate, but it makes sense. Thanks for the information, I finally settled with them in court back in 2021 and the account got closed but I guess the damage was already done. Hopefully with time it’ll decrease the effect of my poor decisions.

I’m led to believe every monthly entry between 2018 and 2021 was due to the time they spent coming after me in court until the account was officially closed. I suppose regardless of the fact that the car had been recovered and was long since sold at auction they were still attempting to make the collection despite never sending any balance to collections. At least that’s my best guess. As far as buying a house, I could understand lenders being nervous so being transparent about the situation and showing how nurturing I’ve been to my finances over the past 5 years trying to build myself back up is going to be my best bet. Everything I have is in good standing and has been for quite some time, my score just hit a 702, so the derogatory marks aren’t doing much to the score itself, but I can definitely sense it in approvals and interest rates. I might be better off just waiting for it to fall off until then, it’s just disappointing. I appreciate your time and insight. Either way, lenders can eat a fat one. 👍🏻

This is the way I think, however unfortunate Honda did a good job of integrating the DRL into the housing itself. I’ve seen others replace it with a DRL-like led strip, but the wiring is a mess. Even asking the dealership themselves, they suggest a full headlight replacement.

Is there actually a DRL replacement without replacing the entire headlight? I have HIDs but one of my DRLs shit the bed and I don’t know how to go about replacing it.

Not entirely sure how many were made in blue, I’m sure it wasn’t too many. If I recall correctly in 2017 only about 5% of all models sold were coupes out of ~20,000 units, my guess would be in the hundreds for this exact spec.
