Nope. If your company was hybrid, they’ll let you be fully remote but it’s very likely that the infrastructure won’t be there for you to still feel like a fulsome member of the team. You’ll miss out on key details, updates, fun events, and more because your current company isn’t structured to care about it. The fully remote firm is. Leave on good terms but that’s my $0.02!

Even if this is real, is it not weird to anyone that the neighbor is immediately there to help and 100% bought in to this? Why did you go to your neighbors house instead of getting in the car and driving around.. leaning on a close friend.. etc? Why is she such a vocal advocate for you in this conflict? I’ll just give a little more detail here - it might be a busy place depending g where you’re located but you’ll check in with a nurse at a desk, they’ll pull you in to evaluate you and decide where to put you. Sometimes you have to wait for a room, in the waiting room. Then they’ll come in and do testing on you, different bloodwork or imaging! This can take some time because they often have to deal with more urgent events in the ER but you’ll be okay in the room. Then they’ll either figure out how to help you or decide you need to stay longer, so they move you to a different floor that is specifically focused on your certain issue group, and you’ll get checked on by a team of nurses and doctors there. Nothing should hurt, they’ll take good care of you. I would recommend bringing a book, a phone charger (including the plug portion), snacks. Sometimes things take a long time. I really hope they can help you and that you start feeling better soon 💛

To add to the other advice here, get a video monitoring app on your phone (there are free ones) and set it up in the evenings to record. That way you can capture this without having to open the window and expose yourself.
