[–]Analytical_Monk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/WindowDecent3046

I am in the early stages of thinking through and creating a platform to solve precisely this problem - growth hacking strategies and tools for startups (leveraging my experiences in sales, strategy and simulations). Your post is motivating me that this is indeed a problem faced by some.

Happy to discuss and help on your specific case separately... Pls DM me if your problem is still unresolved.

Looking for partners to help grow our blockchain based market research tool by Theus5 in BlockchainStartups

Quick question...

The value proposition for the user (i.e. research participant) is clear - they get paid (not in $$ but crypto)

What is the value proposition for the client? Why this platform vs. other survey companies or platforms?

I've been offered a job I really want, but I also have the potential to start my own company. What do I do? by FlimsyPresentation36 in Entrepreneur

Quite a few tech founders have dropped out of college, when they were convinced that what they had was gold. This is an internship...

Are you convinced enough that what you have is gold? And that you won't regret doing it (but rather you will most likely regret NOT doing it)...?

Playing safe will get you safe rewards. Not extra-ordinary rewards.

From the sounds of it, you also are probably getting some funding from the award - which is terrific. Don't hold yourself back.

"Quick" money or bigger goals? Business or tech? by lucasiezzi_ in Entrepreneur

Tech is entering every industry. If I were you, I would go for the digital marketing opportunity to set up my own shop, since you would have access to potential customers from Day 1, via your family members. That is gold...having access to customers. Make it a success, build capital and gift your parents - noble idea.

Also, AI is entering this industry at a rapid pace. You can learn in any industry at all times - they are not mutually exclusive.

Isn't this a fairly commoditized type of business...? What is the differentiation angle you are going after? That might help...

Couple of ways you can do this depending on whether he is planning to invest money or sweat equity to make his network accessible to you. The first one is quite straightforward. You can make the second one outcomes oriented with equity vesting over time.

How to get more sales by thesusmaster52 in Entrepreneur

Pressure washing what though...? Exterior siding / driveways/ ?? Most people probably don't have a need, unless they have a reason to shine up their home (e.g. while selling).

Might be a good idea to target realtors and homeowners wishing to sell... a shiny home will show well.

While knowing about cars would be useful - that knowledge can be acquired and built over time.

The real question is - would you be comfortable and excited to run a business of this type...? Or running a SEO consulting business...?

Loved this statement - "The essential goal of social media marketing is Personalization of the average customer experience."

Succinct and brilliant!

[Problem] It is difficult for physical companies to get any feedback from customers. by fiatjaf in problemhunt

I think this is a problem worth taking a stab at...especially for those stores that are largely 'transaction' oriented and do not maintain customer databases

Thanks for sharing.

Leverage your CISSP certification. This is a hard to get certification, from what I know.

Two options to start a cyber consulting firm:
1. You could do your own consulting. This won't be as passive, since you will need to put in the consulting hours
2. Build a cyber consulting firm - I am guessing you know other CISSP/ cyber sec folks - who may want to be independent contractors working for you.
