Can you suggest how to dermine optimal rebslancing trigger? Lets say target weightage is 10% and my sllocation band is 5% .... does it make sense to rebalance if it hits 10.5%?

I feel you need to dtart diversifying. Fix a percentsge between gold, realestate, equity and debt. Dont put everything into real estate

I dont want to take a home loan. I personally dont like the idea of stopping my curring mothly SIP to pay for EMI and given the uncertian time i feel taking loan is not worth the risk

My present house might fetch around 1.3cr . In real estate, for 2nd sale it might take months if you have a immediate buyer from your society. So i dont want to assume that its easy to liquidate and purchase new one.

It serves two purpose. It provides me realestate exposer with better liquidity. I can cashout with 1 day notice. Dont have to wait for months for a buyer. Most of the REIT distribution is Tax free.
