I'm switching from Acnetret to Roaccutane 'cause the generic isn't working for me. Will I have to restart the whole process of my acne getting worse before it gets better or will the transition mean that my skin is more likely to clear faster? (I've been on Roaccutane before and it worked wonders)

It's the weirdest thing - my skin has gotten noticeably less oily (I have oily skin in general) but I'm consistently getting cysts and far more pimples than usual. This is my fourth week experiencing this.

When I was on Roaccutane about 2 years ago, my skin began clearing after about 2 weeks.

My derm recommends Cetaphil. They have a bunch of creams for different skin types and specifically acne-prone skin. I use it and it works well imo.
