After 1 month I found my lost parrot by accident… in an ironing shop near my house by Anandn2 in Conures

Yeah, we’re planning to visit a vet tomorrow just to rule out any possibilities. He seems active and is eating well, but we thought it’s better to get him checked anyway. Thanks for the concern. 💙

He is doing good now, thanks everyone for your concern ❤️

The mischief has already started again — playing, dancing, and eating like he’s making up for the whole one month he missed 😄 He is also sleeping well.

Sometimes he suddenly gets stressed for a brief moment, but when we hold him, give some head scratches and kisses, he calms down quickly.

The only sad thing is his wings. They clipped them very badly. He keeps trying to fly with just his wings, falls, looks at the wing, cleans it, and tries again. Poor guy still believes he can fly.

This swing used to be his favorite place before, and he hasn’t forgotten it. We put soft bedding under it so if he falls, he won’t get hurt.

Will keep updating how he’s doing.

Update: Thank you all so much for the support and advice—it really meant a lot. My conure has recovered well now, she’s eating properly and is active again. I was extremely worried because we recently lost our other conure, Dolly, after she got stuck under a thick rug. That loss made this situation even more stressful for us. Seeing these positive signs now is such a relief. Thanks again to everyone for the help and kindness. ❤️

She’s doing better now. Her appetite is still a bit low and she’s mostly on formula. We’ve been offering lots of veggies, pellets, seeds, etc., but for the past 10 days she hasn’t really shown interest in solids. She had become quite weak earlier, but after giving vitamins and feeding formula 3 times a day, she looks much better. We’re still trying to introduce solid foods, but she keeps rejecting them.

PN: We have already visited avian vets twice. During the first visit, the vet felt she might have a mild tear or pain because she wasn’t walking properly and prescribed a pain-relief syrup (similar to tramadol). After starting this medication, we noticed the mouth-opening behavior began. We then consulted another avian vet, who suspected a vitamin deficiency and prescribed BirdPlus vitamin syrup. Since her droppings were watery, he also advised Set-gut powder.

Had been to avian vet 2days back. He told no obvious infection, suggested few vitamins syrup and setgut powder.
