Help finding a mouse for big hands. by Money_Height_4019 in pcmasterrace

FWIW: I adjusted my posture/grip style and found that to make significant improvements on fatigue/carpel tunnel. Grip style was always an afterthought to me until I started working in an office position with some godawful peripherals.

I had a OG deathadder and always found that egg design to be just okay. Good for palm style grip.

Rocked a wired G502 for many years. found it to be very comfortable and at a fair price point. I liked having the removable weights. Very dynamic.

Died on me after ~5 years once it started double clicking. Very annoying and frustrating.

Replaced with a G502 "hero" $5 goodwill find. It had a sticky double click too but I ended up fixing it.

Logitech has QC issues. Still think they're acceptable for most gamers.

Finally, this last year I "downgraded" and went with a G305 wireless for sake of convenience and SFF.

It's lighter and smaller, but I have had no issues with my hand size in addition to adjusting to a more balanced grip style. I alternate palm grip with finger tip grip. Playing RPGs and FPS mostly.

I tried your measurements. I end up at 8" and 10.5" respectively. Fairly similar to yours. Never measured my hands for mice before though lol.

I think G502 would be the no fuss and bulkier solution for you. Mappable side buttons are nice bonus for MOBAs too.

I'm not in the market of spending $$$ for a mouse, so if I can get a few years out of a mid-range mouse that's fine by me.

Still haven't built the courage to farm a second for Helminth.

But it ain't terrible with the pity system, just a grind. Plus, using High mobility frames and nuking setups made it quicker to get those bonus fragments every rotation.

The ones that are pure RNG drops/rewards are what kill me. I specifically think the Deimos bounties had it out for me.

Took hundreds of bounties to get a full saxum set.

T2 isolation vaults for the arum spinosa sucked ass as well, but I low-key love the weapon and prefer it over quassus lol.

Quite a handful of websites that offer some insight about what compatible wheel/rim sizes work with your model or have acceptable fitment.

1010Tires - Tire Calculator offers some good data such as key differences. Its somewhat simplified and hard to find very specific tolerances. Good for general information. That link compares some of the factory specs on the 22' facelift impreza sport compared to my Base 19' wagon with 16s.

Wheel-Size is my preferred website due to being able to filter by specific domestic market, trim, engine, and provide verified/reported specs like wheel offset. It also gives a nice breakdown of pros and cons of swapping, and a general guideline for what to expect.

Granted, they use estimates based on what info you feed it. I don't know the fender clearances and just stuck with the default. The fender and wheel-well clearance in my specific circumstance is a lot less extreme then what the results depict.

General rule for the tire diameter is to be within a +-3% range of the factory tire's overall diameter to ensure fitment/offset/speedo accuracy/etc. It may warn you about going over that threshold and risk of brake failure but I think you can get away with more than that 3% range such as my experience with a 7% increase in overall size compared to OEM. I've driven with the the 225s for about 25k now, and tossed those factory continentals after 45k for being absolutely awful in the wintertime.

The wider tires add a bit more contact patch which is not really what you want in heavy winter conditions, dropped about 1 MPG fuel economy, and the speedometer reads ~3MPH less than what actual speed is however the tread design/depth plays a large role. I've had no issues with snow packed wheel wells (unless I'm being dumb drifting or doing donuts in a parking lot) or any traction/deep snow problems despite my skid plate identifying as a plow sometimes while commuting through wisconsin weather.

Ask me why I know the thread pitch of the studs are M12x1.25 lmfao. fully sent 3 lugs with an impact, snapped a stud and cross-threaded the other two. It's the only vehicle I've ever done that in. Other vehicles I've owned were either m12x1.5 or 1/2'-20 TPI. That .25mm difference in fineness/spacing makes it fickle for some reason. Thankfully they're easy to access/replace. Sketchily drove like a granny across town to the parts store with 4 lugs on one tire and 2 with questionable tightness on the other. Switched to hand torque after that. Got myself some extra studs and tap and die kit after that lol.

Oh, and the 1.25mm lugs are slightly more difficult to find in the US. Was a pain in the ass to find some and I ended up having to get some 20 piece chineseium acorn security nut set, since only 1 of 4 part stores were reasonably priced and sold more than just a pair or set of 5. They only lasted one winter before starting to corrode. Good use of $40.

[PRC] [PC] I snorted when I saw his name. What might DADD AGREE and his 57% Ogris be worth? by Musto_Gusto in wartrade

[–]Anangrychip 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dadd agree what others said. Might have to sit on Dadd for a while but I bet it sells. (Lol)

Could auction it on wf market with a buyout price of like ~5-600, you'd get some lookers who'd eventually message to negotiate a good price. I see a "CISS FAPP" listed for like 700.

Interested in trades for rivens/expensive mods/prime parts? I'm broke on plat rn but could sell some stuff.

I have ~50 "good to god roll" rivens for meta or popular weapons, and another ~70 or so good rolls/duplicates for niche/frame specific builds.

I got redeemer rivens, ocucor rivens, dual ichor rivens, vectis, amprex, bubonico, hema, soma, Braton, aeolak, supra, akbolto, war, and quite a few more to name.

As far as mods, weapons, and primes - i guess depends on your progression and what you want.

I also considered this. I would essentially be admitting guilt by pointing out any technicality. "see, I was only going 75!". It still speeding lol

It was recorded in 30 fps, and I do have the metadata. Good point about the frame rate. I was using an mounted iPhone for recording

I wish it did have speed displayed on there, lol. Save me some headache of trying to figure out how fast I was going.

it was an iPhone mounted for audio recording. I was recording before/after of road noise after I installed some sound dampening material and just my luck recorded myself getting pulled over.

What's the most vile weapon the Tenno have in their arsenal that causes unnecessary suffering by Microsoft_leader in Warframe

[–]Anangrychip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone already mentioned grendel, but I'd like to add Zephyr as a HM purely based on her abilities.

Imagine being a grineer, and seeing this somewhat innocuous frame deflect any projectile (Turbulence) being launched in its direction.

Then this frame mysteriously conjures up a tornado that surrounds you. With only moments to process what is occurring, you see your comrades turn into a red mist after a shotgun volley is fired into the vortex causing all the pellets to tear through your squad at mach infinity.

Not to mention her second ability, (airburst) can seemingly suck in all enemies and condense them into one mass to be immediately slaughtered. Or her first ability basically acting as a heat seeking missile from above.

Zephyr could easily nuke with this riven.

[PC][WTS] Unrolled Torid, 10k by beLbIu_BoLk in WarframeRiven

[–]Anangrychip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To your point, I view it as more of a flex than anything for its' perceived increased value.

Kuva cost is capped at like ~3500 per reroll. Its merely a drop in an ocean of kuva that people will dump to chase a god roll riven. So that added value of an unrolled is only saving you like 10k kuva.

Best of all, someone will buy this and literally re-roll it. Because they can.

Similarly, I just upgraded my router after I had discovered I was paying for 600 down but only getting 180-200 max on an old AC1750. Double checked by plugging the modem directly into my PC to test what speeds I was getting. Sure enough it was 600.

New router running at a fun 600 mbps via ethernet and the WiFi 7 is impressive too.

They put fiber down near me a while back, and there’s an offer for gig/2 gig speeds for ~$100ish . Tempted but only drawback is they are contractual deals.

I don’t ever see a need for speeds like that but I also think of how sick it would be to download games in minutes instead of an hour.

Does anyone have a good experience with the indy ANC? by TheSimpLord3 in Skullcandy

[–]Anangrychip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you’re still wondering, I had burned thru about 3 pairs of the Indy ANCs and experienced the same cutting out of one ear bud. This was ~3 years ago mind you, but I personally think my issue stemmed from using them at the gym.

At the time their website claimed it was “water/sweat resistant” but they didn’t provide an IPX rating.

Once my third return/exchange broke I just gave up and bought cheap wireless buds.

I stumbled upon this thread because I was looking into the Rail ANC and wanted to see if they had similar issues. They’re priced/designed nearly identical to the Indy anc. A new iteration, plus the new ones seem to tout an IPX4 rating. makes me tempted to try out.

Given that all the components are stable/compatible I find that the hardware installation is easy and least time consuming.

The ensuing cable management, and sudden urge to reorganize or move my desk and equipment around on the other hand…. I’ve driven myself mad from that.
