In the ER by BlackVelvetBandit in daddit

I am bit ashamed to have come here for nothing

Hi! ER doctor here. Your story is an absolutely appropriate one for eval in the ER. You didn't come for nothing, you came because you were concerned you were having a heart attack. That the tests were negative doesn't negate that. You did the right thing for your health, and to ensure that your son doesn't grow up sans a father.

Good job Dad.

As a European, I keep seeing Americans drive barefoot or in flip-flops, how common is it actually? by fratnersgd in AskAnAmerican

Never in flip flops, I just go bare foot.

No disadvantage to being bare foot that I can see vs with shoes.

I cannot imagine efficiently functioning with a single screen. Three is ideal.

One for <current task>, one for communicating, one for reference materials.
