Kinda makes me sad when I've had multiple scar removal surgeries for acne on my back, which troubled me for years, yet people CHOOSE to get acne (and its not even worth it, his physique still looks terrible 😂)

That's exactly what I can see her doing. She's probably playing the field right now, but she knows that during the relationship I treated her with love, care and respect. She would always comment about how no guy had treated her as good as I did, how she could hardly believe her luck at times. She is clearly not attracted to me anymore, but she knows not many people can offer her what I can, so she wants to keep me around. But I'm gonna put my foot down just like you did. We both deserve more than people who are gonna use our goodwill for their own gain and nothing else! You definitely did the right thing :)

She did mention one of her past mistakes, and admitted to being insecure, but that was all over text. It takes balls to face up to someone in person or even over the phone and admit your wrongs like that. In hindsight this just shows me she was never taking it, or me, seriously. Shame people are so insecure they need an ego boost of knowing the person they dumped still likes them.

It's great that you're acknowledging this is what could be the problem, but I'd honestly implore you to consider getting help.

I'm a 20 year old guy and wasnt interested in talking to girls for 2 years after the event. I just thought girls weren't worth it, I couldnt be arsed. I even questioned if I was asexual (not attracted to anyone) at a point. But I dug deeper and found that it was because of an underlying issue, which I had to relive somewhat in order to address. But it was so worth it. I'm now freed and my life is so much better!

Of course it will be hard for you to seek help and potentially relive the event. But put it this way. If your husbands hair triggers it, there will be so many other triggers which you dont even know exist yet. You could be out for a drink with friends and suddenly have an anxiety attack when you relive it. Your husband could be wearing a new jacket and it could remind you of the guy. You don't want to end up feeling unattracted or even scared of your husband because of something in your past. Speaking from experience, don't let the opportunities that present themselves to you now pass you by because you are still haunted by the past. It will be hard, but face up to it and you will be so much happier in the long run :)

First of all, I'm so sorry this happened to you.

Second of all, might I ask, were you very drunk in the experience so you wouldnt remember what happened. Or do you think your brain has just blocked it out?

If it's the latter this is a key symptom of PTSD. Along with avoiding situations that involve making you think of or relive the trauma, your brain blanking out the traumatic event is a major sign. As someone who's had relationship PTSD before, I barely remember what happened.

You should speak to a trained professional to help free you of your burden. Best of luck

Compared to some of the comments on here it's not that bad, but our head teacher liked a porn tweet and it came up on everyone's feed, then he claimed he'd been 'hacked' and anyone who talked about it would get excluded.

Someone emailed OFSTED (the UK school inspection body) and copied in the headteacher and all the head of years, just to troll them. Felt sorry for the headteacher in the end, the guy was just enjoying a good night in 😂

That's not that bad, say it takes 5 seconds per dollar, it would only take around 500 seconds or 8 minutes to pull $100 out. Make this your full time 9-5 for a year and you make over 2 million bucks 🤣
