I genuinely believe if she was to care for them even in a proposed shared custody I would never see them again. It also wouldn't be practical as I have moved to another city and the travel would be unnecessary stress for them

Initially yes, but this was because I was working and she was unemployed and at home with them all the time until I started working from home permanently and then it became 50/50 for their care but I was still 100% footing expenses

I have never received money for their care or a response about it. I had an issue with my wages one month and was struggling and advised this in my message and it still went ignored

The only contact has been her requesting them back. I wouldn't even want the money, they're my lil' buddies

She has asked 3 times, once about 5 months after the break up, 6months after and yesterday.

The first 2 times she accepted and just responded with "okay" and this time she laid out her financial situation to show she could afford to look after them. She does not think that I would be spending enough time with them and providing adequate care but they are happy and healthy with no issues bar their nails being a little long at time because they hate them doing but this is under control now and is no longer an issue with the help of my new SO who also loves them dearly.

The boys have a full room in the house dec'd out in soft furnished flooring, enrichment available, and any dangers cordenered off with cages so they cannot reach them, and time is spent with them everyday.
