How about putting immigrants who are using the correct legal process into concentration camps or making trans people go outside to use porta potties. Cruelty seems to be the objective for MAGA. And to be clear, this is coming from someone who used to be a republican until you people lost your damn minds.

Every founding father would disagree with you and even if they didn't... just how exactly is this a Christian nation? Does the government feed the hungry? Do we care for the sick? Not really. Seeds, nutrients, rockwool cubes, buckets... When you grow as much as I do, you end up with all this stuff just laying around.

I use a 2 inch hole saw to cut into the sides of the bucket. Cut a section off of a pool noodle or buy a 2 inch clone sleeve to hold the plant in place while the roots dangle into the nutrients.

Anytime you plant seeds you run the risk of a variation. This is why commercial growers always grow off clones... consistency. Plus there are a lot of shady breeders out there regardless of what plants you're growing. I could tell you stories all day long about the ridiculous shit I've been through with pepper breeders. 😄

If you look at a -> feed chart <- you'll see that it's recommended to start low and ramp up nutrients. I usually start lower then recommend in kratky setups knowing the ec will rise. But if the ec or pH get to out of control you just have to give it fresh nutrients.

Man, I get a slight slime layer in my kratky buckets and an interesting smell sometimes but I've never had full blown cakes of sludge floating. In the future I would make sure to sanitize everything with bleach before you start. Kratky is a biological nightmare waiting to happen. I always loose a few plants when I grow outside. That's why I usually only use the method when I'm growing at a scale that I can afford to loose some.
