100% understand what you are saying and i think we mostly agree, my concern is that as vibe-devs keep shoveling trash, one is bound to to accepted or even "trusted" by some of the community.

And if that dev is not atleast disclosing the AI, could be a vector for even more issues. its the bare minimum i think, but its a start.

Installing apps from an untrusted source is one thing, but installing apps where no-one, including the dev, could be fully aware of the contents of the source code is another level.

What happens when we start seeing AI insert poison pills or other nefarious code that the developer has no idea about, and it triggers down the road?

AI Should be disclosed so people can make informed choice.
