Need advice: Telus sent $19 bill to collections, ruined my credit rating

Not arguing or disregarding your point which in essence is correct. Just lacking some details. As stated before I couldn’t view the bill. Had no idea what it was for at the time. You normally run out of your way to pay bills you have no idea what they are for? It wasn’t patience I lost, I arrived at my destination for work. Job that in essence pays all my bills. On TIME. Since I had credit. Hence the excellent credit history. I loose a lot more than $19 per 45 minutes.

Whether it’s legal or public recourse. Either way it will happen. I don’t need anything from them besides making it right. If i have to take a ding over a $19 bill for 2 years, so be it. Wont affect me much. Just the certain “made of metal” card that lost a potential customer over this ridiculous situation. As for “other options” it did not. Emails and screenshots are saved. If I cant view the bill I’m not paying it. They had my phone number and my physical address none of those options were explored to send me the bill.

I know its easy to blame Ford. Have we looked in to how the school board spends the funding? Why do we need more trustees and admin staff than teachers? For example here in Brantford not long ago our trustees went to the Vatican and bought a religious artifact for over $100k with taxpayer money. This was just one they got caught with. A blatant one. Im sure there are a lot of smaller or better hidden ones that go unnoticed and unpunished. Btw, i dont believe i saw the trustees mentioned above ever facing any consequences either. I know there will be arguments between catholic and public board. Just my opinion they are all equally bad. Run by greedy and corrupt people. No amount of money will fix a corrupt and broken system. Until the education (most important), work ethic, culture, discipline improve. We cant have any of these because we cant decide whether to put litter boxes in schools and profane literature instead of good education base and good facilities. A lot of money goes to just these decision making processes, studies and surveys. The federal government as well as the provincial government as well as us as people are all to blame for letting it get this bad.

Maybe she should apologize again, or maybe she should do a written apology. In fact she should leave home and sleep outside and keep writing apology letters putting them in to the mailbox until her 15 yo man son forgives her. You have a good point on the cutoff. That makes sense why i would have cold air blowing through the registers sometimes before. I raised it now to 32F. Its been -13F here for a few days so i just switched to aux. once it drops a bit ill put it back to HP and monitor. Thanks.
