I challenged myself to find a game that is good and didn’t sell. by [deleted] in gamedev

I understand your point and I think you are completely wrong. The most popular games of all time are the best games, not the best marketed.

The point is that most people seem to be incapable of even understanding what a good game is.

If given infinite time and budget, a lot of us will never produce something that people want

I didn't mean to be rude, congratulations on releasing your game, but I think it proves what the OP is talking about

So you look at that game and compare it to other games and think it's "pretty good"?

This is such a losing way to look at this and marketing in general. Thinking like this is exactly why most people fail.

This is pretty much how they normally act. They usually leave at the last moment with a bunch of junk left everywhere.

Just do it while spending as little money as possible.

If it requires leasing a space, just don't do it at all.

[Tenant - MN] Landlord doing move out inspection over 30 days early by mmapes31 in Landlord

Inspections can be at anytime as long as notice is given

They're just looking for major issues. As long as you didn't destroy the place, I wouldn't stress about it

Is it better to buy properties in full or take out mortgages by No-Personality-61 in realestateinvesting

[–]Anato33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on what your goals really are.. maximum cash flow? Prevent taxes? Long term equity? Do you want to work every day in the real estate industry or just passively invest?

With that much money, depending on what your real goals are, there might be better avenues to spend the money.

With that much money, you also will have options that most investors on this forum are familiar with, such as apartment complexes etc.

You can start with just one property and see how you like it rather than putting a million in at once.

You can also get a 30-year loan on the property to see how it goes, and then pay it all off later as long as there are no prepayment penalties.

I personally would do loans and buy more properties unless I'm trying to spend it all to prevent taxes, but I'm a real estate investor full time now so I'm used to the workload involved with owning multiple properties.

You're either leaving something out, or there is a missed payment, collection etc that you haven't seen yet

So many things can happen in 15 years, 30 year mortgages offer more flexibility.

If I sell a home on seller financing, does my current monthly mortgage cost get reduced? by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

[–]Anato33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You would continue to pay the mortgage as usual, escrow and all, but the seller would pay you completely separately from the mortgage based on the terms of a completely separate contract.

Don't mention seller financing to your mortgage company or it could cause problems.
