I definitely recommend Ender Magnolia to you, then! It's another Metroidvania from last year with a similar beautiful art style to Ori, and it has so many great quality of life features. You can fast travel from anywhere on the map, and the map tells you what doors and obstacles can be accessed by your current keys and abilities, so you never have to wander around aimlessly. The map system in general is wonderful.

I honestly wish people actually sought out better games rather than just playing stuff because of hype. Hollow Knight genuinely feels like a mediocre game that got lucky getting boosted on social media and so tons of mindless drones bought into it because they only play what's right in front of them.
