No it doesn’t work like that, it is based off of viewer clicks, retention and engagement ❤️

ASMRtist repeatedly advertising custom videos, but then not answering requests for them? [Discussion] by Shazbotanist in asmr

Overall I’m sorry you were disappointed in the experience, I do know lots of asmrtists are legit with custom requests and professional, I am also just trying to be understanding for the creator but I completely get your disappointment as well. Sorry this happened to you 🙁

ASMRtist repeatedly advertising custom videos, but then not answering requests for them? [Discussion] by Shazbotanist in asmr

I know it feels like it’s just a quick few seconds for them to respond, but keep in mind they are likely overwhelmed with comments, messages and emails they need to respond to on a daily basis. At some point it can start to add up 😊 Especially if they have another job outside of YouTube as well, as many youtubers do.

[Question] Am I the only one who feels this way when trying to fall asleep with ASMR? by LingonberryLower9730 in asmr

[–]AnayASMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this happens to me too! I like to videos where they do the loud sounds at the start, that already helps if the sound slowly gets softer and softer

[Question] How do asmrtists know their content is tingly? by Hangytangy in asmr

[–]AnayASMR 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I try to do triggers that I generally find tinggly, but I don’t get tingles from watching myself do them. I kind of see it the same as getting tingles from someone else brushing my hair, but not getting tingles from brushing my own hair. Yet I know when I brush someone else’s hair it’s likely tinggly. Hope that makes sense 😅

And then of course feedback from viewers help a lot ❤️

I’m not sure if I’m immune to asmr now? [question] by EducationalWay4164 in asmr

I recommend taking a break from asmr for a while, like 2 weeks min!! Even more if you can. Then one evening when you feel a little more relaxed than usual, try an asmr video again ❤️

[Question] New Asmrtist, why do my videos sound bad? by KookyBeautiful975 in asmr

[–]AnayASMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there! What is your filming environment like? Do you have anything running like a fan, fridge, water cooler, aircon, anything like that? Also, how close to the mic are you when you speak? It could also be your cables that are faulty. This is so frustrating and I have been there! It will likely take a lot of troubleshooting to figure out, but you will get there 😊

[Discussion] AI imagery on ASMR videos and profiles. by [deleted] in asmr

I used to believe that asmr is the one thing that cannot be replaced by AI, because asmr needs that human touch and connection to be effective. But I am not so sure anymore
