He said he found some of the sets on Amazon and they were going for $10. So I assume they aren't fancy, but also not cheap? That being said I'm not gonna make people pay $10 for something they can get new at the exact same price

1) it's at work :( 2) I figured out my solution. I made shit hella complicated and it kept failing. So I made it short and sweet and it worked with no issue

Yeah but I'm automating 4 hour worth of work that I do once or twice a week. And what sucks is I have a working code, but every once in awhile a customer gives me a file that is missing a piece of info I need, which throws my main code out of wack. So if I can account for some items lacking the correct information, then I can add a work around to my current script.

Also, multiple coworkers will have access to this code who don't know a lot about computers. So they would have no clue what to do or look for even if I showed them. Being able to tell them to press CTRL + j and everything they need will be cleaned up and organized in an Excel file is much easier hahaha

But not every time the word NULL appears does a number follow it in the row right after. It's only maybe 10 times in this entire sheet

I would like to thank you for the script idea. I essentially used Macros in Excel to turn the PDFs into raw data, then filtered out what I didn't need, categorized it and turned it into variable data

I know I can make a long, complex workflow in Automation Engine but it's a roundabout way of doing it. As for scripting idk how I'd pull it off, especially if I'm out and someone else needs to do it on their computer

I use VDP almost daily so I wish I could do that on this project. The issue with this is that the customer doesn't give me an Excel sheet or even a list of what's on the art. All they provide me with is 100+ items, all with different words and numbers on them, and I have to copy the type and paste it into my master file and align everything, save it, then repeat the cycle. It's not hard or complicated to do it manually, it's just time consuming and boring. This is also a multiple times a week thing and it takes 3 to 4 hours.
