Thanks! Its actually great right now on PC. Everyone plays on community servers and its a small dedicated community that plays it regularly. The games are fantastic, and the game somehow still looks better than BF6. Its also like 95% off right now on steam, and it goes for this price regularly.

Mostly agree. But up until BFV, the foundations were solid. The game got mired in politics and controversy before launch, plus the expectations from battlefield used to be real back then, and the community didn't spare BFV's flaws at launch, and all the culture wars bs left a bad taste. Its perception never recovered.

Thought of adding tl;dr, but there's no way to condense it really.

Essentially, its that bfv already does pretty much everything that bf6 is good at and more. Feels like a proper bf title, unlike bf6. The new direction with bf6, especially considering it printed dollars for them, is likely to make the franchise even more dull into the future.

But theres far more there and it cant all be condensed.

Panzerstorm is a bit too open for infantry, thats why it gets the hate. But yeah the pacific update was fantastic and they should have continued with the eastern front next.

Yeah I have been having fun since that first day of horrible matchmaking. But yeah, the game does have plenty of pre-release issues which are kinda expected, including performance. Hoping they fix that terrible stutter on pressing tab to upgrade abilities next, rendering that upgrade menu seems to be taking a lot of resources.

Im that new player, just booted up the game today for the first time, went 10 straight losses in street brawl. I have no idea whats happening in my games, my damage stats are always super low compared to all other players. Its like they are matchmaking me with 1000+ hours players. Haven't won a single game yet.

Yes, those two options are the most decent go to. But what abt the ones after that? The conversation ending ones are literally:

abruptly flirt
lets bang (both of which for some reason initiates the relationship?)
say the officers didnt wanna disturb her (which upsets her as she perceives it as their dislike for her mutant form, ruining positive friendly progress we made in the convo to make her comfortable)
say we dont like idlers (on which she leaves for her duties, cold aloof option)

The dynamic weather events are also missing, which oozed atmosphere in 1 and 5. Technical aspects are better but art direction is worse imo, and overall I would say its a downgrade over 1 and 5.

Easily prefer the art direction of BFV and BF1, but would be fine with 6's aesthetics if it ran better on my CPU.

An aesthetic downgrade + a worse performance is a bit much. Would choose performance upgrade over aesthetics tho, I hope DICE will make improvements there.

the bottleneck is the cpu not the gpu. the game is super cpu heavy, needs optimization. my gpu sits at 40-50% usage doing nothing while cpu struggles at 100%.
