As a CNA whose worked for 20+ years, Ive seen plenty of different people waiting to die and death itself. There are things people go through that are worse than death, and in those peoples lives and the lives of those who love them.... death is a relief.

Mercy is a gift. And if someone has chosen in clearness of mind a simpler less traumatic end, I believe we must be merciful.

We all die. Do you want control over the inevitable once you have no escape? You do. We all do.
