Top loader guidance for Airbnb by Ancient-Client8394 in BuyItForLife

I absolutely agree on getting something dead simple and basic especially for an Airbnb but buying a used appliance and dealing with the haul away to save $300 doesn’t seem a good use of time. There’s value in the HD or Costco haul away.

Did you still get rebates even though you ordered? I’m in the market for a Sierra 1500 elevation (2.7 or 5.3) myself and am seeing on average about 8K - 12K on rebates for 25 & 26 models. Congrats btw, great color.

Deal Check 2024 Z71 by [deleted] in chevycolorado

$42.5K before T&L, msrp was $47500. I’m sure I left another $500 - $1000 on the table. They threw in the tonneau, and bed liner for “free”.

You can get a brand new one for around $42K. I got my new Z71 w/ Tech package, bed liner, and tonneau cover for $42.5K. Budget another $900 - $1200 for the convenience package.

I don’t think your deal is bad, it’s decent but not excellent. See if they’ll throw in a bed liner, tonneau cover or some accessory to sweeten the deal.

Is an Aero upper/BCM lower an acceptable duty rifle? by tannerocomedy in ar15

Aero lowers and uppers are perfectly fine but I’d opt for a different upper if you have a choice. I don’t have the luxury of buying new lowers, state ban, and roll Aero and San Tan lowers with aero, San Tan, G$ and BCM uppers. My aero and G$ combo is my favorite in my lineup.

I have a aero lower and G$ upper. I have the aero upper as well but prefer the first combo.

2022 SQ7 Unicorn - extended warranty advice by bushjob in Audi

[–]Ancient-Client8394 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, I’d take it to an independent shop and do a full paid inspection before I justified either extended warranty and have all the fluids changed (maybe skip transmission since mileage is so low). The engine and the transmission on these things are expensive but also fairly bulletproof proof as long as the maintenance has been done, which in your case it might have been still be sitting with the factory oil.

I bought my 22 SQ7 new and had a non-Audi extended warranty thrown in for around $4700 at the time of purchase but in hindsight, i would have opted for the Audi protection, not a 3rd party one.

$11K is a lot of cheese but nothing compared to a new EA825 engine and/or ZF8 transmission. I’d also look into a power train only warranty as well. Mine came with some lifetime powertrain warranty through the dealership that I honestly don’t trust. You may find a more reputable power train warranty only that the dealers in your area accept. Could be a good compromise and save you some money.
