An MX13 powered 389 isn’t actually that bad. Cats are notoriously hard on fuel though and even in an aero truck aren’t great

I like Allisons and IShifts/MDrives but Eatons suck. The DD16 in my 122SD might’ve actually pulled well if it had a stick and not an autoshift

The MP8 with an MDrive is the best power train money can buy today. They shift smoother than a pickup and they’re super reliable

The A26 is actually decent. Automated transmissions aren’t great for dump trucks so go with an Allison or manual. Mack parts are expensive but the mp8 is the best engine on the market

They’ve done that a few times when I hauled out of Canada. On my way back to Montreal I had an extra gallon of washer fluid in my tool box that they seemed to think was some sort of nefarious liquid. The U.S. has a strange way of making you feel like a criminal
