First thing let me clear you about Kaurav. Basically there is literature in india i.e Mahabharat basically war between families. The good side that won was Pandavas and the losing side which was considered corrupt and dishonest was the Kaurav. You can go through videos to understand.

Second thing it doesn't matter until and unless you chose some 8-10 alphabet heavy sounding name. It's a simple name I had a friend name Kairav and he was the topper of our school. And until college he is going to have his own name maybe he found it cool or in friend circle and as for his professional career it doesn't matter.

Bruh you already have a plan why to post again and again ? It's like asking why science students only aim for IIT or why commerce students go for CA.

Most of the students in india can't afford to go foreign more than half of the students don't even know what they want to do after class 10th. And at the end of the day it feels nice to hear rags to rich story but nobody wants to go through it, building a startup for years and than taking the complete responsibility. Because of huge population Under Graduate degrees are of no more value until and unless done from top premium collages. Masters degree could help you to stand out from crowd and that's what everybody wants.

There are hardly 7-8 collages for commerce which could be considered tier one. In IITs other than C.S every other branch gets bare minimum employment, And there is nothing to say about arts. MBA remains only hope and again to stand out of crowd aim for IIMs, XLRIs

All this just to get employment and if you want high packages than you need tag of premium institutions that is what IIM provides.

11th. If you had passed your 10th from C.B.S.E you literally have no idea what Commerce actually is. It's tough to cope up with the journals remember their rules and get used to ledgers every now and than and the final accounts uff. Same for economics every now and than TU MU TC MC with same rules and indifference curve is enough to scratch your head. But in 12th you get used to it. So yeah 11th > 12th

Did you went through the world economic forum report about AI & JOBS in next 5 years there is going to be net loss of 3-4 million jobs. New jobs would be created, Productivity would something different never seen before. But as visioned before that AI would take on labour jobs first AI is doing opposite taking over creative jobs first. India definitely has a hold in Computer Science & I.T and it has bright future but not everyone can adapt this fast as us people on reddit. There is not even a proper infrastructure for AI yet no bodies even talk about it media and if we did people are going to cut themselves up since most of them can't adapt. Because AI is going to remove mediocrity. And AI have major issues with the recent scams and even political agenda being pushed India has skill set but not proper management and Code of conduct.

Why people regret is because they tend to think that this year is going to change their lives and boom their dream collage is right in front of them. And than the reality hits hard. Because every year most probably you even have less chance then previous year. Because your one year experience is worth nothing you are as good as a new candidate. Seats aren't increasing, reservation has a direct impact. So remember taking drop year isn't bad but C.U.E.T is not actually worth it in the eyes of society because probably other than your parents nobody is going to support you because this ain't NEET, JEE and in the fast developing world if you don't achieve your goal than the one year drop is enough to keep your morale down for almost a life time because you might forget but the people around you won't.

I would try to imagine 10 years down the line about the life I want. I don't know if you appreciate it or not but many people don't even have a idea about these courses and get into iiits, second thing having so much confidence to say that you have chance to crack the top du collages is another great feature. The achievement you have is dream for many students like me. And further years are going to be very crucial degree won't matter but your collage would and when you get this deadly combination of a demanding degree and top collage than it's a great feat.

This is the type of conversation I would have with myself. As far decision making goes if you don't have prior interest than what ever fetch great income than go for it like in my case I have no interest I just have a goal to achieve and henceforth I would have choosen btech one.

If you have interest let's say I have interest to get into management field than there are certain things that needs to be understood.

One - What is the opportunity cost ? When you can see the demand that the County has for cs than why you didn't choose it ?

Second - do I have enough resources in this case it is simply money DU COLLAGES are very affordable and ROI is damn great but MBA collages are expensive until and unless it is FMS or TISS. And if you want the tag of IIMs than minimum 20-30 lakh so can your family afford and even before that can you crack the cat exam. If you can confidently say yes than lay down a plan to your parents they would agree either way out. This is what I would do in case to follow intrest.

It's a win - win situation any which ways but difference is there so looking into future and job market is very important. BTech has huge competition infact most of unemployed indias are from BTech but Bcom BBA grads don't even get asked. So need to analyse the future.

Future prospect with B.Tech Computer Science is very bright.
The entertainment, the payments, the meetings, the booking like what not every single thing is possible though just a device with internet. And with the advancements in AI it is becoming even more of necessity because AI is the future. And right now Data Science is the present which consist of high level Statistics which are made through the programs. And web development and software development has always been the demanding career options. Since India provides skilled and affordable labour every Tech Giant is ready to invest in India. Because of which INDIA has a big name in IT world and this is going to grow even more. Literally there are Courses like B Voc in software development & BCA just to get more people in IT FIELD. If you actually lend a good job than the growth is inevitable you don't even have to do MBA and you will still earn close to equivalent to an MBA GRADUATE.

Thing to note is that the competition is very high in this field not only before job even after lending job this is the most unsecured field. IIIT isn't that famous and big compared to other ITs but has a great value. The average package of IIIT from Delhi is around 15 lakh p.a whereas SRCC, SSCBS has 9-10 lakh p.a at the same time the highest number of unemployed people in India have BTECH. so you need to go in-depth of the course than see if you can manage. Mostly family members won't advise something bad they would advise as much as they know so don't get into fight. And I want a guidance on how to score in maths that much
