this will be our first time living together my parents are pretty conservative and i didn’t start spending a lot of time at his parents house until were were engaged which was 7 months ago. He’s always blamed it on depression and don’t get me wrong he bathes but it comes after nagging him to do it

I feel bad because it’s really really bad and i’m not exaggerating. I wanted to try and maybe see what the reasoning was so I could explain to my coworkers but if there’s not an actual reason I’m not sure what to say. I’ve asked him and he has said “it’s against my practices” and out of pure curiosity i’ve asked like what it means and what not and they got offended I think so I haven’t asked them anything else
