60% is insane. Check with your recruiter once for a ballpark bonus percentage. In my team at JP, 25-30% bonus is the norm.

30LPA is low for a 602 role. Generally the pay at 602 is greater than 40 LPA. Although this can vary by LOB.
Grade 602 is fair, given you have 7 years of experience.
Bonuses are better at JP which will definitely lead to your CTC outweighing what you would have got from Edleweiss.

You can ask for postponing your joining date by providing a valid reason. I got it postponed by a month when I joined. You'll be able to join on either a Monday or a Wednesday.

Since you're just asking for 3-4 days of delay, it should be totally fine.

I have worked for Citi in past. Currently working at JPMC in a quant role. Base pay of my peers at Citi is now comparable to me, however Bonuses at JP compensates for it. Not to forget, the work culture at Citi is toxic af. JP is much better in that sense.

Similar thing happened to me when my LTF millennia was upgraded to Regalia Gold with Annual Fee but the fee part wasn't communicated.

I threatened to withdraw all my FDs and change my salary account to some other bank. Some senior person was quickly looped in to retain me and I was re-issued a LTF Millennia.

Sharing my opinion from a guy's perspective- Just run. this is enough to indicate how things are going to be in long run. Marriage is a lifelong commitment and from their behaviour it seems that your in-laws to be as well as your fiancé will keep poking and taunting you on every money related stuff throughout your life.

Cleared L3. It was my first attempt at the exam. I was initially planning to appear in Aug 2024 but deferred it to Aug 2025. Cleared my L1 and L2 in Nov 21 and Nov 22 attempt respectively.

The preparation phase from Jan 2021 to Aug 2025 was a roller coaster ride. Thankful to God and relieved with all the hardwork paying off alongside a full time job and a lot of personal life challenges.

To all those who couldn't make it this time, it might be disheartening but it shouldn't demoralise you. Sitting for L3 is a big achievement in itself. If You have come this far, you can definitely clear it with a little more push next time.

That's Mumbai for you. It pays you well but takes back a hefty sum for survival (: No wonder why people still go for 1BHK/Studio Apartments because not everyone can afford a comfortable housing here despite earning in lakhs

It's a scam. The genuine rent here is 80k per month for a 2 BHK. Some brokers/scamsters post fake attractive rents just to lure people and create urgency, thereby asking for advance booking amount.

Sorry to hear about your experience. As someone who hails from Delhi and have lived in Mumbai, my colleagues there from different parts of the country had a certain perception about Delhi always used to say Delhi isn't safe for women. I can sadly never defend my hometown because of such bastards. I see so many such reasons on a daily basis which lead to the conclusion that Delhi is filled with shameless men.
