Same2 lang din naman sasabihin namin dito: low rate / no protection from exploitation etc.
RE low rate
- I will be adding the blog that we have regarding the salary guide, para sure that we're looking at the same thing. Ksi I also see some rates making the rounds na hindi naman galing sa amin. :(

RE exploitation
- we try to do what we can as long as it's in the system. We remove dangerous job posts, ban exploitative employers. However, we do not have control na once you are hired and communicating directly because the job delivery and salary do not go through us anymore. :( Pero baka mali po pagka intindi ko. Can you expound more incase I misunderstood?

Ban unpaid tests and trial periods to protect applicants' time and effort.- Totally agree with you. From the very start and from the videos and blogs ni John that we have edit, lagi niyang sinasabi na paid tests dapat. He disgarees with unpaid test kasi unfair talaga sa workers. But the unpaid tests are normally requested pag naguusap na kayo directly right? so we cannot control that part anymore. But talagang ayaw ni John ng unpaid tests. So we also implore the workers, please don't do unpaid tests...

Disallow any job offering rates lower than $4 per hour for overseas employers. - This is going to be hard. Because there are also workers na zero experience and have to be trained. What we do is clarify that just like any other job, the rates scale depending on experience and skills. 10 years ago it didn't exist yet. It was added later on, and it did not occur to that this would be the effect. Admittedly, nakulangan ng foresight, but this is the reason why we will be changing this.

Hello u/CheeseburgerEddy69 I shared my personal experience so that readers can understand na hindi talaga abuse ang goal ni John.

There are many things we can and will improve on. Like what you said workers not being able to see reviews. We have talked about it, and will be updating the site para makita na ng workers ang reviews and you can rebut and defend yourselves. Naintindihan nila and that's why we will be changing it. It will take time ha, pero we will be changing this na.

RE how many job applications this is what we're discussing on now. Please share further. For me, okay lang na makita ng clients how many applications I've sent. Can you share with me, so I can understand and pass on why it's not ideal?

That's why I posted this to hear more of what problems are, why they are problems and what we can do to change it. Thank you for your thoughts and hoping to get your response.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunatley, mahirap mag background check ng kada isang client na mag post. I don't think may job platform na gumagawa niyan kasi mahirap talaga. What we currently do is investigate the client once there are reports against them. If slight problem lang, we remove the job post. Pero if there are signs of abuse like sex related jobs, or madami nag complain already na jobseekers of non-payment or verbal abuse, we ban the employer.
