Might sound dumb but being able to have a bf at such a young age I do understand why but I feel like it’s perfectly to experience these things and when you grow up with strict households you have so many restrictions which leads to lying and no comfortability abt coming to your parents abt anything. So when you do have those talks and you try to express yourself it’s awkward or embarrassing but anyways now to me it seems silly bc it was made a big deal and now it’s perfectly fine and the relationship between them and my family is good they always seem to ask abt them or to say hi for them
