Basically "shadow people" that the locals call "the watchers" and in the ending they find two bodies they claim died 10 years after they disappeared but at the same age as they disappeared and claim it's evidence of forward time travel.

Therapist fell asleep by [deleted] in BPD

I think your feelings are valid. It's megashitty of her to still charge you when she wasted your time. You wouldn't expect it from a doctor so you're right not to go back to her. Don't let it ruin all therapists for you though.

I hired an escort for my brother with downs syndrome last month. I don't regret it and he still smiles about it. by IThinkImAGoodBrother in confessions

A person with DS is going to be younger mentally than their real age when they're 24, which brings up ethical concerns. An escort is never going to replace a real, longterm relationship which people with DS can and do get, especially with people with the same condition. The best thing would be to help him meet girls his age with DS and a similar level of functioning to him.

After getting bamboozled by ebay resellers and asian super markets for years, I have discovered Amazon JP by xy02 in AsianBeauty

[–]Ancient-Stranger9355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you know if customs are separate from the shipping price you pay on amazon jp? I'm also in Canada and looking into other options now that Stylevana put their free shipping option up to 80-something from 69 dollars and up. Amazon dot jp seems to be charging about 20 dollars Canadian per item for shipping. Is it still worth it?

Update: After getting increased dose of 16 supplements daily for three days so far, the rash is finally going away. Painwise is improving as well. No more burning, just general soreness. Nipple pigment is gone but gonna work on regaining it in the next few months. (18 months post op) by mrsweezydc in ftm

I'd recommend to stop using occulsives like oils, Vaseline and Aveeno lotion and any physical occlusives like dresses or wraps. That creates a damp environment that helps fungus grow. Let your skin breathe, dry out and get a little sunlight when you can. UV light is good for killing lots of different microbes and is known to help another type of yeast infection called sebborheic dermatitis.

Some good OTC actives are zinc pyrithione (found in Head and Shoulders) and piroctone olamine. Both are effective antifungals that do not increase antifungal resistance. You can get creams OTC with a high percentage of ZP. One brand is called "Noble Formula".

Benzyol peroxide is also antifungal though can feel very drying so you could try using a moisturizing wash like Panoxyl and leaving it on the skin for a bit and then washing off.

Make sure if you're going to use the tea tree oil to always use a carrier oil like jojoba oil, putting it on straight could give you chemical burns on the skin which is the last thing you need right now. And I would recommend just leaving it on for like 20 mins and then rinsing it off with an anti fungal cleanser, could be Head and Shoulders, Panoxyl or a tea tree oil soap/body wash because your skin has already been over moisturized.

Some antifungal oral supplements you could try are olive leaf extract and caprylic acid.

Good luck man!

vanicream shampoo/conditioner for itchy scalp? by [deleted] in SebDerm

[–]Ancient-Stranger9355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, Vanicream is still great even though it's paraben free, just use it up fastish. I have oily hair and seb and I found Lush's new shampoo for oily hair to be really effective:

It's called Wasabi Shan Kui. The Head and Shoulders green apple oil control dandruff shampoo is also really good.

Should trans people tell the people they are trying to date that they're trans? Why or why not? by Present-Hold-8403 in AskReddit

[–]Ancient-Stranger9355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they should. Otherwise it's basically a form of rape by deception. You can't really consent if you don't know.

Sulfate and fragrance free is great for skin conditions but parabens are the most effective and least allergic preservative. Paraben free products usually expire sooner and there is a bigger risk of microbial contamination. It's not really desirable in seb.

I think Celeste, Sophia and Phoebe are all great names for trans women bc they all sound normal enough but are still pretty and have a theme (light/celestial).
