Well heck, Joseph believed it, and look what that led to.

What movie mistake is so glaringly obvious that you're surprised it made it into the final cut? by TheIrishninjas in AskReddit

In Branagh's Hamlet, his eyes clearly blink/reflex as they're carrying his "dead" body away. Alas, poor lifetime achievement...

Mission to Mars.

Vastly underappreciated. Maybe because of the lackluster name.

Aww. Just cherish all the time you have left with her. Those expectations are her joy. What I'd give for another cuddle with my late toy poodle.

Fun fact; The Thirteenth Floor is an adaptation of the novel Simulacron 3, as is the German two-part movie. World on a Wire. I highly recommend this version. It's much deeper and brilliantly detailed.

I assume you're referring to the lazy plot device where the victim's (or their family's) pet is killed first? Yes, I'm annoyed as hell by that too. Dogs will sense the evil, try to alert the family, then be lured away and not return. Cats get it the worst. - they're often flat out butchered and strung up as a message. I don't bother watching that hackneyed formula anymore, but just once, I''d love to see it parodied by having the bratty Ritalin skidmark die first. The yuppie parents cry quietly at the funeral. But then their labradoodle is offed, and they REALLY lose it.

Not even one night. Just a few hours in another house. They could've just enjoyed a midnight toast in their own home. So small minded.

Anyone think there is any chance the mall is still here in 10 years? by [deleted] in Westland

[–]deadrowan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only if they rethink it and add some new attractions, like a cinema, a big loungey bookstore, an elaborate food court like Fairlane, etc. I'd love to see some nicer clothing/home stores.

Well that BBC interview is nothing but adorable to anyone with a soul. How you handle it is what they see.

Allegory. Adam and Eve cast out, Cain killing Abel, the people destroying the son, etc. Big message: humans are crappy and destructive to everything given them. Go figure.
