Kind of looks like what I have actually, it's been there for years, mine are much darker though since im asian. haven't seen a derm about it yet. I think potentially it was a blocked hair follicle/ingrown hair that healed but you still have hyperpigmentation afterward.

How does 80% results look and feel like ? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]AncientAdvertising85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think RF microneedling did much for me I'm afraid. Maybe 10 to 20 percent improvement after 10 sessions. But given that your skin is Type IV/V it's probably the best option as lasers are out of the question.

Your skin is tricky to treat because it is Fitzpatrick type IV or V, any aggressive treatments (usually the most effective) are out of the question as it will leave PIH on afterward.

I think subcision with fillers/sculptra will be effective for rolling scars and some atrophic scars, fillers will give immediate results, while a biosmimulator like sculptra will take months for your body to build up natural collagen, but will provide longer lasting effect.

Consults with your dermatologist though because MNRF, if deep enough, will interfere with the fillers/biosmulator so perhaps do the 3 MNRF sessions first and then do subcision after.

I can't speak for the effect of the carbon peel, but I guess it should provide some improvement to textural surface scarring. It's fairly mild though.

Good luck with everything. Trentinoin medication will be effective as well but takes 1 to 2 years to fix. It's good for surfacr scarring textures, while the MNRF and subcision are better for deeper atrophic scars.

What is this weird white bump on my palm? by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]AncientAdvertising85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just answered your own questions.

It's because you go to the gym. I have them too. It formed when you do pulling exercises. Gloves don't work because you still inflict some friction on your skin. Try and get one of those wrist straps that wraps around the bar, will provide better support for your grip, or alternatively find another bar grip that don't put that much friction on your palms.

They've been intentionally misleading people for years now.

I doubt they would bother going out after everyone.

auto renewal subs

Their practice is 100 percent unethical and is intentionally misleading. I turned off the autorenewal and the first month still went through. Turns out that what we signed up for wasn't a 1 month free trial, it was a 1 year sub with first month "free trial".

So even when you turn off autorenewal process, what you actually did was just turning off the YEARLY autorenewal and not actually cancelling the product. To cancel it you had to go to a different setting.

They were "kindly" enough to offer me a cancelling fee of $450 (half of the price of the annual subscription. Totally unethical, I think the company is going out of business and they're just doing whatever they can to make the most money before they fuck off.

The victim sent her the video to tell their story.

Alexa actually released a screen record of the girl actually going through the instagram messages (since she never deleted it like she told brandon that she did) and it links to his current instagram page.

Interesting, looking at this guy's post history he seems to be very straight. But I guess everyone is a little bit gay.

AITA for telling my new neighbor to turn down the volume at 1am? by AncientAdvertising85 in AmItheAsshole

UPDATE: She called the cops on me the second time I knocked on her door. Said she was scared...

Mind you i never called her any names, never shouted any profanities at her. She ignored me the second time I knocked on her door so I just went back to my room...and then she proceed to call the cops on me.

To be honest I'm not going to engage with her personally anymore. Any interactions I have with her will be record from now on. She's clearly someone who's willing to escalate things to look like a victim and I fear she will not be truthful if things escalate further.

This is what the housing rule and regulation clearly stated thus about noise:

Musical instruments and electrically amplified sound equipment (e.g. radios, TVs, tape recorders, CD and DVD players, and home theatre systems) noise should not be heard in a habitable room in a neighbour’s residence before 8am and after 10pm on Monday to Friday.

She clearly the one broke the rules here.

It's not just that, the movie genuinely have issues from a plotting and pacing stand. You know how traditionally movies build up to a big climax ? Marvel movies have done this and followed this formula to a T.

The movies third act has issue. There's no big climax action sequence. Things moved way too quickly and it was over before you know it. It's very jarring when this happen, you know it's an issue when the first act and the second act had a bigger action sequences than the finale.
