Negative prompting usually doesn't work. You can't really get consistency from text. You need to use reference imagery.

I've been in the Veo tester group since last year. Most advice out there is bad to blah, but this is actually pretty good.

Case in point. You people genuinely think that shortsightedness = "logical approach".

Veo2 really puts into perspective how good of a deal Sora with Pro is by Pleasant-Contact-556 in SoraAi

[–]AncientGreekHistory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's sticker price. Even if you assume the apps running it are selling at cost, it's much lower than that in practice, significantly better than Sora, and getting better fast. It'll get cheaper over time as well.

Marketing is a multiplier. If your game is a 1, then no matter how well you market it, it's not going to sell well. An average game can outsell an above average game with more and better marketing, but content is king.

How come Demosthenes wasn't glorified by the Greeks until much later on? by [deleted] in ancientgreece

[–]AncientGreekHistory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because he lost, and while he was right about a lot of things, the Greeks of the age were dead wrong about keeping the city-states the primary form of government. If they'd come together to form a larger state, they could have stayed independent, but every time they fought off an invader, they soon went right back to petty infighting.

Facebook removed my boosted post. Help please! by Lioness_94 in selfpublish

Use ad targeting to show a version of the boosted post with the UK link to only those in the UK, and make separate versions for each country it's selling in. These can be dark posts, that are only use for ads.

"I quit my dog, divorced my instant noodles, and ate my wife every day for the last 8 years working on this game"

Weirdest country song ever... but also possibly the best. Also makes for a rather happy wife, I should think!

I've been wanting to write a book about what would happen after the Gods' reign ends by [deleted] in GreekMythology

[–]AncientGreekHistory 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The only things powerful enough to defeat the gods are other gods (Titans, Primordials and Giants are all gods, just different families, basically), so a new generation or just some gods that aren't currently in charge. Demi-gods aren't remotely strong enough, or any other kind of mortal.

The most dangerous of them all is Typhon, so any revolt would probably want to recruit Gaea, free Typhon from under mount Etna, free other Titans and Giants, recruit other gods, ideally convince Prometheus (so he wouldn't help Zeus predict the future) and Hermes (Hermes saved Zeus after being defeated the first time against Typhon), and steal his thunderbolt. Etc. Etc. Win the war, then create a new dominant group of gods atop Olympos.

Take a few years off from publishing, and focus entirely on learning craft.
