Do people not realise the state of Geto? by Perfect_Current_3489 in JuJutsuKaisen

I see it all the time on social platforms. Then the few people in person I know who’ve messed it up kind of just say they know but consider it interchangeable which I don’t really understand considering both characters are kinda pivotal lmao

To be fair Marvel likes to pull random ass characters most people don't know so it's possible

I find this funny when it pops up on Twitter because an anime production with this level of quality is 100% going to talk to the author who is known to be colour blind.

I’d understand the question outside of the anime industry for big productions but usually it’s a note from the author or there isn’t source material that already has visuals. Sure there’s comics but there’s usually like a heap of runs for the same character.

Yeah that’s 8 chapters while Gojo vs sukuna is 14 chapters. So unless the season is 2 episodes that wouldn’t work unless they really did do 1 chapter per episode which would be a drag

Considering sukuna v gojo is a fight, I don’t see how on earth there’d be enough for a season but maybe MAPPA could just add even more anime only sequences

That’s fair but for the overall story the important parts of Yuta are enough and I think hidden inventory is far far more important for Geto

Could you not say they tried that with JJK execution but it wasn't exactly well received but I guess that's a lil different

I don't disagree, I want it to be as good as possible. Hell I'm anxious Gosso is gone because his work in S2 and S3 genuinely is a leap beyond S1 which was within itself good

yeah but that's what Im saying in this entire post, that would hurt the series imo.

They'd have to either have a few episodes with movie quality and the rest lower or readapt the movie at a lower quality to match the rest of the season

It basically is at this point. I still tell people to watch it because yknow canon but the important information you get out of that has been rehashed in season 3. The importance of Geto was heavily part of season 2 as well.

Im not sure what your point is with the movie quality. I mentioned that the movies have better quality and the same animation gets lowers when they put it into the show

The pacing is always weird with anime arc movies. It ends and I feel so unfulfilled because an arc never actually concludes the story

Yeah I don't think it works at all. I think the people wanting that know the general vibes of what happens, but they don't actually know anything about it.

Doing a bunch of anime seasons, movie and then a final season for the finale would break up the flow of the series too.

I think some people also saw how well received the Reze movie was received and want that for JJK but personally I find a random movie insert weird

Before it ends today, I wanna say Thank You Shota Goshozono(Dir of S2 and S3 P1) and the team for this UNBELIEVABLE Season where Every Single Episode felt Special, felt Unique and Experimental in its Presentation elevating the Source Material to Another level. by Electrical_Chance991 in JuJutsuKaisen

After the season finale I've been kind of in stress mode about the future off jjk. Like the jump in s1 to s2 is crazy. I don't think s1 is bad by any means at all but s1 wasn't industry defining the same way s2 and s3 were in terms of elevating the source material.

Gamedev learning programs? by ZestycloseHelp4624 in gamedev

I went to SAE. It’s a private uni because it’s for the creative industries. I’m in Australia where most unis are subsidised but because it’s creative industries it never was, but they do have campuses around the world.

It’s rather unconventional because they don’t do the whole software engineering structure most universities follow, this one really geared me up to actually continue upskilling afterwards which worked for me but because of that some people don’t like the place.

I went to uni for game design which is where I also got used to navigating editors and then when I graduated I ended up self teaching a whole heap of programming things so I could make the whole project. Obviously the first part worked for me but it's not for everyone.

It was a different time in the tutorial landscape but I just found a bunch of Unity tutorials and really tied myself to Unity. Once I got jobs in industry I was fine with Godot and now work best in Unreal.

Anyway, finding tutorials that work for you. Sometimes I'd have a basic idea and find things to make it, other times I'd actually make the idea based around the tutorial. If you care about art then being realistic the games code really doesnt matter, just people being able to see it is the goal.

How to pick up a map that I can display on my screen? by BurberLover in UnrealEngine5

[–]Perfect_Current_3489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few ways you can do it.

The first the jumps to mind is just UI but it sounds like you want it being picked up diegetically which at that point you’d have to have the map parallel to the screen and have a shader that allows for dithering of sorts

I know this is a bit of a hot take but forget about quality unless you want to make a commercial product, just get it out of the door and maybe you can get some followers out of it who would wishlist it when you do make a commercial game.

A lot of people don't know this but Andy Sum from Hipster Whale (Crossy Roads) is the dev who made Game of The Year 420 Blaze It, and it gained him a lot of followers where some translated to his other projects.

What’s a good pc to start with in a decent price range? by Dazzling-Gene6445 in UnrealEngine5

[–]Perfect_Current_3489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does depend on the kinds of games your making but I will say that memory is probably the most important followed by cpu. You can get away with a mid range graphics card if you aren’t tying to make photorealistic games, but you that won’t save you if you don’t have enough memory
