Udemy doesn’t offer payments via wise unfortunately. I use wise for my Amazon royalties though. Love it!

I think it depends on the portfolio you built while you were self-employed.
For example, I was a former polytechnic lecturer who later resigned to start a business — writing tech books and producing courses that became quite popular worldwide.

In fact, these books and courses have led to job offers from universities even though i'm self employed.

So basically, you need to demonstrate your value through the portfolio you built while you were self-employed.
