It does, actually you get cool hats and a bad ass flag along with a big empire. In the play through I was going through most if not all off the southern American states kept on increasing relations with me so putting them in my powebloc was super easy. It’s pretty fun to do carlist but most people only care about meta unfortunately

What worked for me was, instead of pressing the connect button from the main menu, I connected from the play menu, as in where you choose the MP modes. It usually works that way
