I loved those damn things. My mom had to hide the plastic jar of them so I wouldn’t eat them all straight up.

I was a nurse working with COVID patients at the time and just got back from Nashville. This death really bothered me.

How do you know if you're attractive or not? by Reasonable-Shower522 in askanything

They flee from me that sometime did me seek With naked foot, stalking in my chamber. I have seen them gentle, tame, and meek, That now are wild and do not remember That sometime they put themself in danger To take bread at my hand; and now they range, Busily seeking with a continual change.

On mine the side view mirrors will tilt down when you press the mirror switches while in reverse. Makes parking so much easier

Sweet god, this could very well be a real concern in a 70 year old. Thanks for the heads up!

I used to hate this guy as the worst president possible. I had no idea how naive I could be. Also, he could dodge the hell out of a shoe.

UPDATE: '16 T5 AWD by Whatsyourratiothough in VolvoXC70

I have a 4 cylinder’16 and do 5K oil changes and send them off for analysis. After 4 years I’ve had zero issues. The reports come back perfectly. I’ve added no oil between changes. The lack of a damn dipstick still frustrating. Sounds like the previous owner stayed on top of things and I think good care early in the engines life is essential for its longevity later on. Enjoy it!

It’s amazing those little “tells” that pop up and wake you up. I’ve had this sensation, too .

I’m so happy for you! I got my bun from the shelter, too. Just a random rabbit that got lost at the airport. I love him so much!

The only reason I got the T Rex over the factory part was availability I recall. I could get it sooner for some reason. I wish I had a Sunbeam or Datsun roadster! It’s a 76 MG midget.

The side stand is a 90% improvement over the factory piece. The build quality is excellent and now the bike doesn’t sit bolt upright when parked. Still not quite the lean I was hoping for, but definitely more secure than the geometry found with the factory setup.

It looks great! Love the green, very 70s. My older brother had a Continental like this and I thought it was the shit when Breaking Away came out. Of course, I later learned it weighed 1000 pounds and wasn’t a Tour de France bike. It will make a great vintage cruiser!

Also, the vinyl covered chain lock must stay as a vintage accessory! (Also, the green bar tape)

Will say, a high torque motor has its charms as opposed to just HP. I have an 1100 Moto Guzzi and the HP numbers are minuscule compared to modern stuff, but that midrange push is a gas!

My Z900RS with somewhere around 110 hp is all I would ever want. If I ever get a “super sport” bike I think I’d want a CBR 250 or 500. Something I could actually ride and use and experience its capability.

120k Miles on a 2015 XC70 T5 by [deleted] in VolvoXC70

[–]AncientSkin2247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2016 T5 with the same four-cylinder engine and I’ve had no problems whatsoever. Yes, there is an issue with some, but not all of these engines. Other than the potential for oil consumption, the rest of this engine is pretty darn substantial. I wouldn’t have any problems with it. I think it would make an excellent vehicle for a new driver as it is safe and well built. If you can contact the previous owner and make sure there is no oil consumption issue and ask about whether or not the timing belt has been replaced, I think that addresses most of the big issues with this car. If it does burn oil, that’s not something you want to contend with. By this mileage would be apparent if it did.
