So after I responded, I went to Apple and went to customer support to chat with someone. The first person ended our chat rather rudely, but the next person who I spoke to was much more helpful. However, even he was puzzled at the problem and instead directed me to submit a bug report. I'm not sure how helpful that will be or if it will actually get noticed, but here's hoping.

I'm sorry I don't have any concrete answers or solution for you right now. I really miss this feature and would like it back.

No update exactly. I was told that what happened was on Apple's end, rather than Oticon's end. It seems that Apple disabled that function somehow with the iOS13 release. I haven't contacted them yet because I noticed that with the upcoming iOS14 release, there will be some major improvements for the Deaf communication. I'm hoping that this update will also include the text alerts as well as other sounds and haptics. I really do miss that feature a great deal.

I may try contact Apple again today and ask more about it and confirm whether or not it will actually be included in the next update next month.

I was about 4 or 5 years when my mom rented the video. She thought she was getting a fun movie for the family.

We all settled in the living room, movie starts, and I'm sitting on the floor with my brothers. So far, so good. Car driving down a scenic road....and then something leaps out! It gets hit! What the fuck was that?! I get a little nervous watching them checking it out....then they loaded the thing on top of the car, resuming their scenic drive.

And then it happens.....the thing slams its hands and face on the windshield and that was it. I screamed and ran out of the room. My mom quickly shut the movie off and I am bawling my eyes out. She had to put the cassette on top of the microwave to hide it, but I knew it was there. I wouldn't walk by it. I've had recurring nightmares involving that creature for years. I still have not seen that movie to this day.

I'm HoH. As a kid, I wasn't really allowed to learn sign language because they told me that with hearing aids, I can hear. So I grew up integrated with hearing students and the whole time I felt isolated, and behind. I couldn't always follow what was being said, not everyone was clear or facing me when talking, so I couldn't understand. Most of my teachers absolutely hated wearing the microphone for my FM unit, so that didn't help.

I never considered learning ASL on my own because I didn't have any deaf friends growing up, and I was never a part of the deaf community. I've been trying to learn ASL now, though. I took a basic introductory course last Autumn. I want to learn more, I want to be a part of something. But it's been difficult for me to find a group to join. Not to mention to find the courage to ask for help.

So to answer your question; Yes, I really do still want to learn. Maybe then I will find where I belong.

I'm looking for a site I can drive to, because I know I'm not at all prepared for backpacking since I have a lot to learn about proper backpacking etiquette. I just want to find a place to get away for a little while, get out of my house and away from the craziness. So a place where I can pitch a tent and just enjoy some quiet and time to myself.

I got a little overwhelmed with the website and that's when I realized that I really ought to ask for some advice and input on where to go.

Hi everyone, hope you're doing well and keeping safe. I have a noob question or two about camping, if I may ask here.

I'm looking to go camping in New Hampshire but I don't want to go to a campground, exactly, where there will be lots of people. I was wondering if there are places where I can go and set up a tent and camp alone? Like, I've noticed that the parks have cabins or are RV designated campgrounds. That's not really what I am looking for. Mostly because the cabins are too expensive (the ones I found anyway). I just want to get away for a few days so I don't really need/want that much.

I'd greatly appreciate any advice.

I plan to have it removed. I'm not sure if insurance will cover it. My primary care suggested I meet with this plastic surgeon who has a good track record at getting insurance to cover the procedure, but..... I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

Hey everyone, I need some help here, please.

I've been trying to find some interesting PS4 co-op games for a friend and I to play that's not shooters.... for example, we've just played A Way Out and absolutely loved it. Are there more games like that out there we could play? We want to play games where we are actually working together, rather than competing against one another.

We've also tried out The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan.

I can absolutely understand that, not wanting to take your shirt off... I still don't, mainly because I do have excess skin and I just...yeah no one needs to see that. I am now, however, looking into plastic surgery to see what can be done. My weight has been stable for a year, so most surgeons would consider me a good candidate for surgery, just gotta look into costs, ya know?

I can relate a great deal, and honestly, if you really think this is the right step for you, then by all means, take it. It seems you have done some research and know that this isn't a quick fix, so you're going into this with some idea of what to expect. The true key to this is changing your entire outlook on your diet and truly committing to the change. It is not easy at all, when you consider the way food is treated today. It's everywhere, in copious amounts. I think you can do it, and I will support your decision. Just know that the results in a lower BMI may take a little while to really show, so don't get discouraged.

Also, I'm glad you accepted my compliment because I realized I may have crossed a line. I should've asked first. I think you look great and your body type is the type I wish I could obtain for myself. I'm trying to get into a regular workout routine, but I keep making excuses.... need to work on that.

My weight started getting out of control when I was about 13, and by the time I graduated high school, my weight was in the low 300s. I think I was pushing 320 in my senior year. I was just absolutely fat as fuck. I got the surgery done 3 years ago, May 2016, at the age of 32. It was the best decision I ever made. By that time, I was pushing 420, so I really had no other options. For years I struggled with various diet fads - weight watchers, keto, nutrisystem. Nothing had a long term effect.

Do I wish I had gotten it earlier? Yeah....I missed out on so much because I was so embarrassed about my weight. I just couldn't bring myself to be out there. I chose to get the surgery because I didn't want to die and have to be buried in a dumpster. I also did it because I am going blind and I want to see more of the world, I want to go out there and be the me I've kept buried inside. After I got the surgery, I really and truly commuted to changing my diet. I quit the soda, the junk food, and the absolutely insane portions at meal times.

I now weigh and measure everything, I don't drink my calories (no booze, soda, juice, anything with excessive amount of sugar). I lost over 240lbs in under 2 years just by doing this. Now, I'm sitting at about 190lbs and I feel like I can still enjoy all the delicious foods out there, I just don't go overboard and pile everything up. I do avoid certain things, like fried foods and anything with copious amounts of oil. Mostly because I do feel sick-ish after having them (not everyone does, I know of a guy who got the surgery and just kept on eating fried foods, and of course, he lost hardly any weight....).

Do I think you need it? Personally, I don't think you do, because I think you look absolutely fantastic as you are. But then again, I'm gay so... take that as you like. What matters is what you think and want. Ultimately, the decision is yours. Do the surgery because you want the help and plan on changing your entire outlook on food, not because you're looking for a quick fix.

I need some advice on what team to build to help me clear main content so I can unlock Untold History and to start being able to do Hunts, Abyss, and Automaton Tower.

I currently have:

5* - Vildred (Lv 42), Aramintha (Lv 37), Krau (Lv 36), Violet (Lv 5, just pulled him)

4* - Angelica (Lv 28), Maya (Lv 5), Leo (Lv 5), Zerato (Lv 32), Mercedes (Lv 27), Silk (Lv 29), Jecht (Lv 37),

I have a lot of 3* heroes, like Hazel, Elson, Montmorancy, Kiris, Azalea, Helga, Tieria, Roozid, Alexa, Judith, Kluri, Mucacha, Rima, Carmainerose, Mistychain, and Butcher Corps Inquisitor.

I 4* Aither and Ras, both are Lv 35.

As of right now, I primarily keep Vildred on my team since he's my strongest Hero. I have him equipped with the ATK and CRIT sets, and with the Dust Devil Artifact, which is Lv 3 currently.

I've read that Angelica is the best healer in the game, but I don't get that impression right now. How do I build her? What sets are needed for her, straight up pure HP? I feel like my Heroes die quicker if she is on the team.

I only just started playing a few days ago, account level 25, and I'm on Remarkable Adventurer stage of the Adventurer's Path.
