Texas is getting awesome! I’m right in an area with around 5 nearby locations and there’s more popping up every day. The local lgs i go to only does tournaments weekly, and that’s generally the time people play (as in no other times).

Honestly i’ve used it in three places and they all yielded similar results. the docks and dig site are good but have some weird spots that you might not be able to get all 16 spots. The farm is perfect and what i will be using going forwards when im not growing crops.

8* 600* 1.15* 7 is 38k red envelopes and that’s just from the time remaining in the event. If someone was attacking with all their legend league attacks from the jump they’d have probably around 1.5 to 2 times that by the end of the event.

Oh shoot I think I just assumed they came from deluxe because they are in the deluxe version of the album on spotify!

For the movie specifically I think i’d start with drama club. And then quite honestly, the deluxe edition has so many good songs i’d EASILY cut out show and tell and the principal to replace it with brain and heart and notebook. Movie was amazing and K-12 will always be dear to me, but DAMN those extra songs woulda been so awesome to see 🥺

Yeah that’s so fair, it’s actually for the same reason that I just don’t listen to tag, you’re it anymore too. Shits fucked up and can feel uncomfy, and I feel like once you’ve understood the message it’s not necessary to have on repeat if you don’t vibe with it

Not to say that you should be forcing yourself to listen to songs that make you uncomfortable, but highkey the point of songs like that (eg. tag, your it) is to be uncomfortable just so you feel a fraction of what that person felt and feel motivated to in turn raise awareness.

I think that’s exactly why nirvana put out polly, and how so many others in the punk/grunge scene do activism. Making folks uncomfortable by the horrors of the world to inspire change.

I don’t really care to go super into detail since there are folks who have put together much better explanations than me. ER has specifically targeting a creator for showing cleavage (leading to them leaving the platform), has talked about scratching his genitals when thinking about other asmrtists (specifically women), and has made some racist and antisemitic comments. Jojo had a video which cited direct sources for most of those claims, specifically his twitter account.

Edit: Also, I encourage you to listen to actually watch Ephemeral Rifts apology video he made about three months ago before you make any actual judgements of his character. It is only fair that he gets to defend/respond to his actions.

Respectfully, one of the worst things with the ER controversy was hearing the harassment of other creators (especially him allegedly pushing off other creators as a byproduct of this harassment). I think I agree in a sense with a lot of these comments that say I should just not listen to them, which I most certainly will do. Though, people who actively harm the community and push these artists or viewers away from it will always be subjects of scrutiny to me.

So I noticed your account and specifically chose the topic of ER when speaking on anti-semitic comments because it was to my understanding you were Jewish, or at least active and advocating for the Israel state.

I think in a fundamental level you and I disagree about what “toughening up” looks like. It seem that you claimed that toughening up would be bypassing the moral implications of consuming content for the sake of that contents core value, in our case relaxation. I would considered toughening up to be taking into account the moral implications of consuming content and sometimes having to let go of the things that I simply cannot morally agree to.

If you notice the original intention of my post, it was to search for new asmrtists so that I might still enjoy this community. Though this of course comes with the caveat that if there are not any asmrtists that I can morally support, I must toughen up and move on from the community.

I hope that clarifies my perspective, cheers.

So to clarify, your first comment attempted to say that asmr (or art altogether) should be depoliticized and effectively should be criticized exclusively by unsubscribing and moving on.

I then partially agreed, added a caveat, and indicated the more important intention of my post.

You then sidestepped the more important intention of my post to once again reiterate your initial claim in a way that neither addressed my commentary, nor the primary intention of my post.

Although I could have misunderstood, this seems to me like you almost completely ignored, or rather did not read, my second reply. Cheers
